Otescia R. Johnson was born in South Carolina and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Stevens Henager College. Otescia has enjoyed the opportunities to travel and live abroad. Both were afforded to her by her husband’s military career. Otescia is a writer, minister, innovative speaker, published author, mentor, and all around “Sister” to those placed in her path. The book “He Cheated: A Woman’s Guide To Receiving God’s Healing After Adultery” was written due to her personal experiences. These experiences were the starting point of her intimate relationship with God.

Otescia’s desire is to help women all over the world through her ministry. The opportunity to fulfill that desire materialized as she began to lead the Women of Virtue Ministry at the Grafenwoehr Christian Fellowship in Grafenwoehr, Germany. In addition to the Women of Virtue, Otescia opened her home weekly and facilitated sessions aimed at providing a safe place for women to be spiritually vulnerable. It was at that time she began blogging and writing the book “He Cheated: A Woman’s Guide To Receiving God’s Healing After Adultery.” She currently shares her story of triumph via workshops, retreats, interviews, speaking engagements, and one-on-one sessions. Otescia strongly believes that Romans 8:28 is a foundational truth for everyone’s life: “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” (NIV)

Though Otescia has experienced a divorce, she is a firm believer in the sanctity of marriage and enjoys being married to her best friend and biggest supporter, Lyndell. Otescia and Lyndell met in an unorthodox way that led them to live by the phrase, "God has a way of doing things so that it can't be mistaken as anyone else". They quickly fell in love and have devoted their lives to each other and their six children. They currently reside in North Carolina.
