Teaser Tuesday from THIS LOVE
I've been busy, busy, busy with editing THIS LOVE & LOVE HURTS to get them out soon, so I wanted to share a teaser! I can't wait for y'all to meet Bennett and Veronica. Make sure you add them to your Goodreads TBR!

“You got a tattoo.”
“Several because I’m a sucker for drunken dares. Monica hasn’t seen them yet or she’d cry. And then retaliate by fucking one of my friends.”
He cocks his head toward her closed door and rolls his shoulders into a shrug. “But then, she’d do that anyway. Cain’s the only one of us that’s smart enough to escape.”
Honestly, I’d expected the same from Bennett, after he defied Delaney tradition last year by choosing Duke over Harvard. He surprised everyone by coming home this spring with the news he would be spending the summer in the city—and transferring to his father’s alma mater in the fall.
“Ben—” I start, but he jerks his head to either side.
“Stop it.” He moves close enough that I feel the heat radiating off his bare chest. I wonder if he’ll go back to the party like this. Half-naked. A dimpled grin playing on his features for the benefit of his friends.
“Do you … want me to go grab you a shirt from your room?”
“I don’t want a shirt. I just want to celebrate my new car.” My spine stiffens as he feathers his knuckles over my collarbone. “Have a drink.” I make a sound—a soft murmur that tickles my lips. “And pretend that we’re all fucking normal.”
Finally, my brain latches on to what he’s doing. Tugging my pale blonde hair from where it’s trapped beneath his shirt. He drops it over my right shoulder, the way I always wear it.
“Well,” I rasp, legs shaky as I back toward the elevator, “we better get you back to what’s normal.”
