Night in Space
I have recently become a fan of Firefly, which as many of you probably know is really bad timing.
But in one particular episode they make reference to it being night time. This always bugs me about shows set in space.
While I can see why you would want to create an artificial time of day for the sake of sanity, there is no reason to believe that anyone else in space would be on the same schedule.
It always seems like all the major characters are active during the same shift, so who runs the ship at "night".
It was just lucky that the Klingons never attacked the Enterprise while the night shift was on duty.

On Hogwarts
Am I the only one who noticed that Hogwarts would be a really boring, and possibly depressing, place to go to school?
When you think about it, without the magic (which isn't all that impressive to most of the students) it doesn't offer much to do. There is no gym class, only one sport, not much in the way of art or music, and only one dance in a seven year time span.
Not to mention the only connection students have to the outside world is by owl or maybe a wizard radio.
Don't get me wrong, I'd still go if I was invited.

First Blog
This is very exciting.
I thank you for finding my blog and my book. I hope you try out the book. The print version just came out. I still haven't received a copy yet, so I am impatiently waiting for that.
I will try to do my best to update this blog on a regular basis.
This is going to be a fun adventure.
