This is my about me section and a little info about myself Humm? Good question indeed.

Hi I am H. Dirk Macgrieve, I am the eldest of two siblings, and I was born in Charleston, South Carolina, a U.S. Navy Brat, in those first years of my life, my family traveled to wherever my father was stationed for the most part.

I grew up in a very moral upbringing with my parents, and my younger sister. My father was a minister and still is to this day, he always taught me that you make life what it is; you are given the tools in which to build a better future for you and those around you. It is my deepest honor to still have both my parents to this day as they are still happily married.

As fate would have it in the early spring of 2006, I was in an

Torn

I am torn between the two, for I am both predator and as well the prey. I am the wolf that is hungry for the rabbit, as well the rabbit which is hunted by the wolf. The speed of both always keeps them running, always prey and predator.

“The Sword’s Quill Society

The words which have been written, from the depths of one’s heart, have given stain to the poet’s parchment. The power of the quill giving freedom to one’s words said or written, in black, outlast blood’s ink tip of sword wielded upon fresh marked was written. So said and then written, with sword’s quill it has been stricken, the war does not give token, blood spilled for now all has been written.

“He Compels"
Excerpt from the “Regent Saga” up in coming series.

Nails digging in like talons cutting into the flesh of his prey; he dragged his claws across the rough sawn timbers. Only digging in deeper into the wooden beams for which he hung from high in the ceiling, above this great chamber of his coven.
Maxwell then reached out from the depths of his mind; to explore the memories and as well the most secretive desires of his newly turned Queen Regent’s mind. He deeply enjoyed these new experiences with her; to be able to tease her desires by his powers over her thoughts tantalizing her imagination; how he molded her will to his wants and needs.
His hunger to taste of her only growing as each minute passed by, until those minutes became hour after hour of sweet torment. He yearned for the way she did his bidding without any knowledge of her surroundings or those that may or may not have seen her.”

“His velvet brush dips deep and lingers there in the warm inkwell of her endless desire. The ink of passion flows for him tonight, so he may show her how it feels for his muse to be so truly needed by an ardent lover.

His hunger to write poems of love's power upon the warm supple parchment of her skin, secret words that only she can comprehend until his brush runs dry and he returns to dip again in ink made by the gods for calligraphy of wanton desire.”

“Life is filled with Dreams, Dreams which give our life meaning and inspire us to change. We dream about change and improvement, we set goals, seemingly impossible goals, goals which challenge us, and we dream about the future, when we will reach our goals, when our lives will change for the better. Without our dreams, Life and humanity would be hopelessly dull. © 2013 Brianna Hughes”

H. Macgrieve Have to Live
Waters run deep, like the ocean’s blue. Tears I cry, are all for you. Passion burns, only a raging fire remains, from searing hot, to cold and back again. To know your kiss, you’re warm sweet breath, your eyes, your smile, your softest caress. Our pounding hearts and our bodies weak, emotions driven by the love we seek.
Each day without you, ends both in a high and low, I lie alone at nights end, and yet you fill my soul. Many scenes of us are etched within my mind, open arms waiting, for love’s first kiss, at the opening of dawn’s first light. Holding of our hands, we dance, we laugh, our minds as one, sharing all these moments of our love’s past, making love to the rising of the sun.
I know this day is our first in a life between us two, and from here I make this undying promise for you. I promise to be your best friend so true, the one you tell what hurts the worst in you. Should I, your love, stop giving what you need? To grow with you, your friend, to be sure, I tell you. Give you all the life and love my heart has to give, is for you, my love, for all the days we have to live.

H. Macgrieve “One Answer”
How can I express this love? These deep seated feelings that burden my heart for you this painful silence, which has surrounded me that has been lifted by the love from your heart. You wrap your arms around me the sensation seems so overwhelming, as it grows within my soul, this desire to always be by your side, to hold you to not ever let go. So I ask you again. How do I express this love I feel for you? My feelings I hold deep inside of my soul, so afraid to l
et go, the simple words can never express the truth behind my heart. But only begin this test of time and distance between us, for time can forever keep me in this pain. Our love does continually grow as our souls draw ever so closer, as the days pass by. Still left so far from you, not close or even to be captured in your warm embrace, your love has left me open and exposed. For all the pains of love I hurt longing for more, yes I have exposed my very soul to you to the sweet warmth of your love that starts with you but ends with me. It has caused me to grow dizzy as to where our love does begin or to where it ends. Yet again I ask how I express this love. This tickling feeling at the very edge of my soul, I fight with all the hope to never let go. My life has become fulfilled by your very presence; this is how I express my love, with this one answer I will never let go. My actions show of this love for you, for my feelings for you are embedded deep in my soul.

H. Macgrieve It becomes a sad day when the givers, that give freely from their hearts. Are taken for granted by those that should be a grateful receiver, instead all they can do or are capable of is to continue to take without regret. The sadden truth lies deep within their own guilt ridden souls that will cost them far deeper, than what it takes to have a grateful heart.
It tears at ones own soul, with such pain at the heartlessness of those that would and could do better. Yet there is not the least bit of compassion or feeling behind such fake smiles, and painted on faces. But without any remorse or regret they still take, ignoring their own souls crying out from the disregard and acknowledgement, of their own conscience.

H. Macgrieve “To Win”

I will not lie down anymore, you are not aware of whom I am, you have no clue of what I am capable of I do… I know what I have had to overcome, to get where I am today.

I will not let you take it away from me, what I have accomplished, what I have worked so hard for. This is my dream and I control my own destiny, not you and you never will. Yes I am better than you, I will always be better than you. Why and how I can say I am better than you , because I am me and
I
know what I can do I know what I have been face to face with and you are nothing to me.

There is nothing you can do to me that has not already been done, time and time again. You are beneath me; you are the very dirty beneath the sole of my shoes. You have not, nor shall you ever know what I have overcome in my lifetime to get where it is I am.

You do not know the dues I have paid, the pain and heartache to be able to stand and not give up. Well guess what I am not who you think it is I am. I am exactly the opposite of who you think I am.

Yes I am better than you and yours, soon may not today, and may not tomorrow. But when I look back and see how I overcame all that was placed before me and see that you are a mere shadow of my past. Yet those that stood by me, stood strong beside me, against all odds we stood strong together.

We will laugh in celebration, while you cry in shame for you are the weakness I fought against to win.
