Derek N. Tate, MAPP is a positive psychology practitioner, flow coach and alpine ski teacher. He has spent the last 34 years teaching people of all ages and abilities to ski, including training and examining ski instructors for several national governing bodies/training organisations. As a PG Sports Coaching graduate of Moray House, Edinburgh in 1992 he has always been passionate about how people learn and the psychology of learning. This led to more recent studies and research when he embarked on the MSc Applied Positive Psychology (MAPP) at Bucks New University graduating with distinction in 2019.
