Jacob Barnes brings a gritty authenticity to the world of fiction, drawing on his real-life background in Kentucky law enforcement to craft compelling detective thrillers and supernatural noir. He has a knack for blending the procedural realism of the job with the high-stakes tension of the genre.

When he isn’t writing, Jacob is an avid consumer of storytelling in all its forms, from classic crime dramas and science fiction movies to immersive video games. He currently lives in Kentucky, where he spends his free time gaming and plotting his next mystery.

He is currently working on a noir thriller set on the shores of Lake Erie, following a detective struggling with an eight-year gap in his memory and a past that refuses to stay buried.
