The girl who spoke the language of stories.
I was 10 years old when I wrote my first story.
Our teacher often gave us assignments to create stories around a theme, and that week, she chose winter.
We were to describe the landscapes, the season’s essence, the way nature shifts when wrapped in frost and silence.
We were to describe the landscapes, the season’s essence, the way nature shifts when wrapped in frost and silence. That afternoon, as soon as I got home, I ate my lunch quickly – my mind already racing with ideas – and then I sat down, pen in hand, and let the story pour out of me.
I wrote about how winter wasn’t just cold – but alive. How the sun kissed the glimmering snow, making it sparkle like a thousand tiny diamonds; how the trees, though bare, weren’t lifeless but simply whispering in their sleep, waiting for spring’s return and how nature, in its quiet stillness, wasn’t dying, but resting, dreaming, renewing itself.
I crafted a world that felt magical to me and I couldn’t wait to read it aloud in class.
The next morning, after mom`s usual persistence to wake me up (it was always so hard for me to wake up early in the morning) I got ready and left for school.
One by one, my classmates read their stories, and then it was my turn.
I stood up, holding the page in front of me and I began to read.
At first, I was aware of my surroundings, my teacher standing near the board, my classmates sitting at their desks, but then… something shifted.
I lost myself in the words.
Time and space faded.
It was no longer just a school assignment.
It was a world and I had stepped into it. I was inside it.
For a brief, enchanted moment, the classroom disappeared.
No rustling of papers.
No movement coming from my colleagues.
Not even the soft steps of my teacher walking between the rows of desks.
Only silence.
Only me and the story.
And when I reached the final line, I lifted my gaze and met the eyes of my teacher.
She looked at me and said:
“Now that is a story indeed.”
And then, something I never expected happened.
My classmates smiled.
Some even clapped.
I walked back to my seat, feeling something I had never felt before.
Not just pride.
Not just happiness.
But the deep knowing that stories were a part of me; that I had rediscovered a part of me I had long forgotten but felt very familiar nevertheless.
And then, something even more magical happened.
The following week, when the teacher asked:
“Who wants to read their stories first?”
A few hands shot up but before anyone could say anything, a few of my classmates called out:
“Cristina! We want to hear Cristina’s story!”
And I smiled, because without realizing it, without planning for it, I had become the girl who writes captivating stories.
I had become the storyteller.
And little did I know, I always would be. Today, just like then, I’m still deeply in love with stories and would always be in the search for one.
Why?
Because I’m naturally drawn to them, to writing and creating them but also because of my deep and firm belief that stories matter; that stories connect people deeply and powerfully, and because stories can help make this world a better place. For this and many more reasons, I’ll always be a strong advocate for stories and will always be writing and creating them.
What do stories mean to you? And do you have a story from your childhood that shaped who you are today? I’d love to hear it! Do share it with me in the comments below!
I’ll talk to you next time!

The stories you’re telling yourself are shaping your reality. ✨
Have you ever stopped to think about the stories you tell yourself every day?
Not the ones you share on social media or tell your friends over coffee.
I’m talking about the quiet ones – the ones that whisper in the back of your mind.
Stories such as…
“I’m not good enough.”
“I’m not ready yet.”
“I always mess things up.”
Or maybe they sound like…
“I’m destined for more.”
“I always figure things out.”
“I’m worthy of everything I desire.”
These stories – whether negative or positive – are the invisible threads weaving together the reality you’re living right now.
Because here’s the truth: the stories you tell yourself create the world you see.
The hidden power of your inner narratives.
We often think of stories as things we tell other people.
But the most powerful stories? They’re the ones we tell ourselves.
Think about it.
Every time you hesitate to post that vulnerable message…
Every time you undercharge for your services…
Every time you stay silent when you want to speak up…
It’s not because you don’t know what to do.
It’s because there’s a story running in the background.
A story that says:
“What if I’m too much?”
“Who am I to charge that?”
“People will judge me.”
And the wild part?
We don’t even realize we’re telling ourselves these stories.
They’ve become so woven into our identity that they feel like truth.
But they’re not.
They’re just… stories but here’s the shift that changed everything for me:
If I am the one telling these stories… I can also rewrite them.
That means the narrative that says, “I’m not ready,” can become,
“I’m learning, and that’s enough.”
The story that whispers, “I’m invisible,” can turn into,
“My voice matters, and the right people hear me.”
The tale that insists, “I’ll never figure this out,” can evolve into,
“I’ve overcome before, and I will again.”
It’s not about pretending everything’s perfect.
It’s about choosing stories that empower you rather than hold you back.
You are the storyteller of your life.
The pen has always been in your hand.
Rewriting your story.
Let’s try something together.
Think of one limiting story you’ve been telling yourself.
Maybe it’s:
“I’ll never be successful.”
“I’m not as good as her/him.”
“No one cares what I have to say.”
Now, what if that story isn’t the truth?
What if it’s just a first draft?
And you, as the storyteller, get to edit it.
Rewrite it like this:
“I am becoming more successful every day.”
“My unique gifts are exactly what my people need.”
“My story matters, and I’m here to share it.”
Even reading those feels lighter, doesn’t it?
You hold the magic wand.
We’re all living inside stories—some empowering, some limiting.
But the most beautiful part?
We get to choose which ones we keep.
You hold the magic wand.
You get to say,
“This story no longer serves me. I’m writing a new one.”
And as you rewrite your inner narratives, your outer reality shifts with them.
Suddenly…
You show up with more confidence.
You say yes to bigger opportunities.
You attract people who see your worth—because you see it first.
Your new story starts now.
So, here’s my question for you:
What’s one story you’re ready to rewrite today?
Take a moment. Breathe it in. Feel it.
And remember – your words have power.
Because the stories you tell yourself?
They shape your world.
And you, my dear, are the storyteller.

A very long time ago, in the year 1992, in a small Austrian town.
I’ve always been the curious type of person, even as a child, and from as far back as I can remember, I’ve always felt a deep connection to the supernatural world – a pull toward stories, creativity, magic, and the infinite possibilities they hold.

The fact that I spent the first years of my life in Austria with my family has only created the appropriate context for this connection to be deepened further.
Our home was surrounded by forests and lush greenery, a constant source of wonder and inspiration for me.
Nearly every day, after returning from kindergarten, I would venture into the woods, captivated by its power and sovereignty, feeling as though it was calling me deeper into its magical embrace.

My mom would always remind me, before leaving, to not distance myself too much which I did.
In truth, I didn’t have to go beyond what felt safe for even though I stayed close but my imagination traveled far.

With each step I took, I expected myself to see fairies fluttering among the trees, dwarfs peeking from behind the bushes, elves walking silently through the mist. I imagined encountering talking animals, wise wizards, and enchanted princes and princesses.

This magical universe was more real to me than anything I learned during my classes and I loved it!
While the kindergarten had its rules, boundaries and limitations, the forest offered me something entirely different:
Freedom. Access to creativity and magic. Infinite possibilities.
And of course, storytelling!

Stories, for me, are more than just words on a page:
They are doorways to other worlds, mirrors of our souls and bridges that connect us to one another.
They carry us to new places, give us hope, help us see the world through new lenses, and maybe, just maybe, they remind us that magic is real.

The forest was more than just a place – it was my refuge, my escape, my sanctuary of infinite potential. I remember feeling so lit up in those moments as if the very air around me hummed with mystery, magic, and power.
There I felt limitless, completely anchored in my own imagination, as though anything I dreamed of was possible.
And even today, the memory of those walks stays with me, reminding me of the incredible magic in the world if we’re open to seeing it.
The seed planted in my heart all those years ago as a child continues to bloom, guiding my perspective on life.
I’m grateful for that time, for how it shaped how I see the world today – with wonder, curiosity and an unshakable belief in magic, stories and storytelling.
And it`s the only thing that I want to do for all my life:
To create and write stories, and use my passion and love for writing to contribute to people and help make this world a better place.

Thank you, God, for everything.

Storytelling: The new path to growing your business.
In a world filled with noise – where flashy ads and quick sales tactics overwhelm us at every corner -it’s easy to feel disconnected. For the heart-centered, intuitive and creative entrepreneur, there’s a longing for something deeper, more authentic, something that connects them to their clients in a meaningful way.
That’s where storytelling comes in. It’s not just a trend; it’s the new way to grow your business, and, perhaps more importantly, it’s the soulful way.
Storytelling is as old as time. Long before there were algorithms and social media feeds, there were stories. Stories are how humans have passed down wisdom, connected with one another, and made sense of the world. Whether told around a fire or whispered to a loved one, stories invite us into an emotional experience. They make us feel seen, understood, and valued.
As entrepreneurs, this is what we crave in our businesses, isn’t it?
We don’t just want to sell a product or service – we want to share a piece of our soul.
We want to inspire, uplift, and make an impact. And what better way to do that than through storytelling?
Stories create connection.
At its core, storytelling is about connection. When you tell your story, you invite others into your world. You create a bridge between you and your audience that says:
“I see you. I’ve been where you are. I understand.”
People aren’t looking for a sales pitch. They’re looking for someone who gets them.
When you share your journey – your triumphs, your struggles, the lessons you’ve learned along the way, you allow your audience to connect with you on a deeper level. You transform from a faceless brand to a trusted ally, someone who genuinely cares about their well-being.
This connection is what turns casual browsers into loyal clients, the kind who not only come back again and again but also rave about your work to everyone they know.
And that’s the beauty of storytelling – it fosters loyalty in a way that traditional marketing never could.
How does this resonate with you? Im curious so please share your thoughts with me in the comments below.
I`ll talk to you next time.

The truth is…your energy impacts the world around you.
We live in a world filled with movement, connections, and subtle exchanges of energy, even when we are unaware of it.
Each of us is a beacon of energy, constantly emitting vibrations that ripple outwards, touching the people, places, and experiences around us.
This invisible force we carry within us is far more powerful than we often realize, shaping our relationships, the environments we inhabit, and even the unfolding of events in our lives.
When we embrace this understanding with awareness and intention, we can begin to truly transform not only ourselves but also the world around us.
At the heart of this truth is the recognition that our thoughts, emotions, and attitudes are energetic vibrations. Whether they are positive or negative, peaceful or chaotic, these vibrations create waves that interact with everything we encounter.
The energy we radiate is contagious, influencing those we meet, the atmosphere of spaces we occupy, and even the trajectory of our days. Our inner state has the potential to uplift or diminish, to inspire or drain, and realizing this opens a door to profound empowerment.
Think about a time when you walked into a room and instantly felt the mood—whether it was light, welcoming, or tense. Without a word being spoken, the energy present in that space communicated with your own.
This is a common experience we all share, yet it is often overlooked in the hustle of daily life. We may not always realize it, but our own energy can have the same impact on others.
When we enter a room with calm, positivity, and kindness, we radiate a warmth that others can feel. Conversely, when we carry stress, anger, or frustration, it too has a palpable effect, casting a shadow that lingers in the air.
This awareness can become a beautiful practice. When we cultivate love, peace, and joy within ourselves, we begin to radiate those same qualities outward, like a ripple effect that spreads far beyond what we can see. Small acts of kindness, a genuine smile, or a moment of deep listening can shift the energy of a situation, softening tension or bringing light to someone’s day.
When we are conscious of our own vibration, we can choose to show up with compassion, patience, and understanding, offering a subtle but profound gift to the world around us.
It’s important to remember that energy is not just about what we project outward—it’s also about what we allow in.
Just as we affect others with our energy, we are equally influenced by the vibrations we surround ourselves with. If we constantly engage with negative people, toxic environments, or consume media that drains us, our own energy will be impacted.
This is why creating sacred spaces—whether at home, at work, or in nature—is vital.
We need places where we can ground ourselves, recharge, and reconnect with the peaceful energy we wish to embody and share.
One powerful way to nurture this connection with our energy is through mindfulness and intentional living. When we take time to slow down, to breathe deeply, and to center ourselves, we create a space for higher vibrations to flow through us. Meditation, prayer, or simply spending time in nature are ways to realign our energy with the love and peace we seek to offer the world. These practices not only help us become more in tune with our own energy, but they also deepen our connection to others and to the Earth itself.
The beauty of recognizing how our energy impacts the world lies in the realization that we are never powerless. Every thought we think, every word we speak, and every emotion we feel contributes to the collective energy field of humanity. By choosing love, peace, and kindness, we are actively contributing to a world that reflects those very qualities.
Imagine if each of us became more mindful of the energy we bring into every interaction, every relationship, and every space we enter. We would create a world filled with more harmony, understanding, and compassion. The energy we offer to the world becomes our legacy, touching lives in ways we may never fully comprehend.
In the end, we are all interconnected. Our energy is part of a larger web that binds us together in ways both seen and unseen. When we honor this connection, we step into our true power as creators of the world around us. By embodying love, light, and positive energy, we become catalysts for change, reminding others that they too have the power to influence the world with their own unique vibration.
Every day, we have the opportunity to choose the energy we bring into the world, and in doing so, we begin to transform not just ourselves, but the collective experience of life on Earth.
How does all this resonate with you? Share with me your thoughts in the comments below, Im curious already.
Much love & light to you,
Cristina

How a Dervish taught me to stay open to divine inspiration…
During my holiday in Turkey, I experienced something I had been wanting to do for a long time – attend a Dervish show. Said and done.
I went to Mesale Café, which is only 3 minutes away from SultanAhmet mosque (also known as The Blue Mosque)
I had always been captivated by the mysticism of the whirling Dervishes and their meditative dance, and that night, I walked into the show with high hopes and an open heart.
As the performance began, the Dervish gracefully entered the stage, his presence serene and commanding. I watched, mesmerized, as he started to whirl, his robe spinning around him like a soft, flowing wave. But then, something caught my attention—his right hand was open, reaching towards the sky, while his left hand was facing downwards towards the earth.
In that moment, I felt a deep realization bloom within me. I knew that the whirling performed by Dervishes is a form of meditation, a practice that allows them to transcend ordinary consciousness and connect with higher dimensions of spiritual insight. As I watched, an epiphany began to unfold within me, which took the form of a profound metaphor for life itself.
I realized that the Dervish, with his open hand reaching towards the sky, symbolized a clear and open channel for divine inspiration and guidance.
In that moment, I understood that we, too, can be like the Dervish.
When we maintain a high vibration—when we feel good, remain positive, and keep our energy aligned with love and light—we become open channels through which the Divine can flow.
This openness is not just for the dervish.
It is for all of us.
When we align ourselves with positivity, with love, and hope, we become clear channels for divine energy to flow through us. And just as the Dervish releases that energy through his movements, we release it through our actions, our words, our creations. We receive from above and we pour that inspiration into the world, enriching the lives of those around us.
But I also realized that when we are closed—when we are stuck in negativity, doubt, or fear—nothing can flow through us. We cut off that divine connection, and as a result, we have nothing to give, neither to ourselves nor to the world.
That evening, something shifted within me. It wasn’t just an “aha” moment—it felt like a truth that would stay with me for life. I knew that from then on, my greatest responsibility was to ensure that I remained open, vibrated high and took care of my energy. Because when I do, I am that open hand connected to the Divine, allowing inspiration to flow through me and into the world.
That evening, I felt a powerful shift within me, one that I knew would guide me from that moment forward.
As a reminder of this breakthrough, I bought a statue of a whirling Dervish, which now sits in my room. Every time I see it, I’m reminded of that Tuesday evening in Turkey when I realized the importance of being an open channel; the importance of keeping my energy high, and giving myself the best so that I can give my best to the world.
This experience taught me if I don’t feel good, if I don’t allow myself to be open, then I have nothing to give to this world. It’s a reminder that to truly serve others, I must first take care of my own energy, allowing myself to be that open channel through which the divine flows.
And so, every day, I strive to keep my hand—my heart—open to the sky. I strive to feel good, stay connected and vibrate at my highest frequency.
The world benefits most when we allow ourselves to be clear channels of love, light, and inspiration. And for that, I am forever grateful for the lesson I received from the Dervish that evening.
What are your thoughts on this and how does this story resonate with you?
Let me know in the comments below, Im very curious to hear your take on this.
I’ll talk to you next time,

A heartfelt journey through Turkey: A tapestry of culture, beauty and connection…
There’s something magical about returning to a place you love. My recent holiday in Turkey was not just a visit—it was a reunion with a country that has held a special place in my heart. The dynamic energy of Turkey welcomed me like an old friend, its pulse matching my own excitement as I reacquainted myself with its vibrant cities, rich culture, and warm hospitality.
From the moment I arrived, I felt at home. There’s a rhythm to Turkey—one that I had longed to feel again. Istanbul, with its bustling streets and vibrant markets, was alive with possibility. As I strolled through the city, I felt the unique vibration that only Turkey can offer. It was like stepping into a dance, where each step and turn was infused with history, beauty, and soul. Returning to my favorite areas, Ortaköy and Gülhane Park, felt like a homecoming. Ortaköy’s lively energy, with its cafes, boutiques, and views of the Bosphorus, was as enchanting as ever. And Gülhane Park—oh, how I’ve missed its emerald greenery! Walking among its towering trees, with the scent of blooming flowers filling the air, I felt utterly at peace. It was like the city had wrapped me in its arms, welcoming me back into its embrace.
Of course, no visit to Turkey would be complete without indulging in its culinary delights. The food was, as always, a feast for the senses. Whether I was enjoying succulent kebabs, fresh simit from street vendors, or savoring a leisurely Turkish breakfast, each bite seemed to deepen my connection to the country. The Turkish coffee I sipped felt like a ritual—a moment to pause and savor the rich flavors, a reflection of Turkey’s depth and complexity. And I must admit, I had more than my fair share of Turkish teas and sweets, each one making me fall in love with Turkey just a little bit more.
One of the most profound experiences of my trip was attending a dervish show. Watching the dervishes whirl, I was mesmerized. The grace of their movements, the way they seemed to transcend the physical world, brought me into a state of deep reflection. It was in that moment I had an epiphany: we are all channels—open vessels through which divine inspiration, wisdom, and knowledge flow. When we allow ourselves to feel good, to embrace joy and presence, we are open to receiving God’s inspiration. I felt a deep sense of connection, not just with myself, but with something far greater, something sacred.
The trip didn’t end there. I journeyed to Gökçeada Island, a place that felt like stepping into a different world. The energy of the island was unlike anywhere I had been before—lively, yet deeply grounded in its uniqueness. I met new people, shared stories, and, of course, indulged in special sweets unique to the island. Each bite was a reminder of the island’s rich history and the cultures that have shaped it. Visiting the villages of Zeytinli, Tepeköy, and Kaleköy enriched me deeply. These villages, with their Greek, Italian, and Turkish influences, felt like living mosaics, each piece contributing to the rich tapestry of Turkey’s culture.
And then there was Çanakkale. Walking through the city, I was reminded of its importance in Turkish history. It was here that Mustafa Kemal Atatürk achieved one of his greatest victories during the Gallipoli Campaign, a fierce battle that stretched from April 25, 1915 to January 9, 1916. Standing on the same ground where history was made, I felt a deep sense of reverence—not just for Turkey, but for the strength and resilience of its people. It was a humbling experience, one that reminded me of the courage and determination that has shaped this beautiful country.
As my trip came to an end, I found myself filled with gratitude. Turkey has given me so much—not just delicious food, stunning landscapes, and rich history, but a deep sense of connection to the world around me. Every moment was a gift, from the lively streets of Istanbul to the tranquil shores of Gökçeada, from the swirling dervishes to the powerful history of Çanakkale. Turkey, with its vibrant energy and warm embrace, had once again touched my heart in ways I couldn’t have imagined.
I left Turkey feeling enriched, inspired, and deeply connected to the country and its people. It’s a place that draws you in and makes you fall in love over and over again. And as I said my goodbyes, I couldn’t help but feel excited about the next time I would return. Because one thing is for sure—Turkey will always have a special place in my heart, and I can’t wait to feel its magic again.

A new start for Copywriting Fairy.
There comes a time in our lives when we need to pause and listen to our inner voice, a time to reignite the passion that fuels our dreams.
For a while now, my journey in copywriting felt like I was on autopilot.
There wasn’t the fire anymore, the passion, the enthusiasm, the creativity… and it`s been happening for a good few months now. I was buried in projects and deadlines, losing touch with the very essence of why I began.
I stopped listening to my intuition, my creative muse, and everything seemed mechanical — until I decided, it was time for a change.
In a moment of silence, through meditation, I found my answer as to why it felt so lifeless and grey. I realized I had drifted away from my muse, my guiding fairy of creativity and inspiration. It was a wake-up call to reconnect with her and allow her to shower upon me, once again, all her essence, inspiration, creativity and magic as well as her free and wild side.
It was time for me to start doing things again in my own way, no matter how this may look on the outside. So, I’m thrilled to share with you not just a renewed passion and fire for my craft as a copywriter but also a new logo that symbolizes this fresh chapter!

This change isn’t just about aesthetics; it’s a reflection of my renewed commitment to my creativity, passion, and enthusiasm and also a celebration of reconnecting myself with my muse, allowing her magic to come through every word I write and share with the world.
It feels good to be here, it feels like home and I must say, Ive been wanting and needing for a very long time to get here.
May God be praised, it finally happened and I’m super happy, excited and eager to get the ball rolling under this burst of new, fresh, volcanic and powerful energy! Thank you all for being part of this journey.
Let’s embrace this new chapter together, filled with inspiration, magic and boundless possibilities!
As always, my commitment to my craft and the people I work with is the same:
Create the best content I am capable of
Give my 100% in all that I do
Help as many people/business owners as possible with my writing skills and talent
Always aiming for more/better & bigger
Stay tuned for the exciting things ahead!
This is going to be so good!

Inspirational content vs transformational content.
The type of content people read from you determines if they’ll buy from you or not.
You can be inspirational in your content all day long and people will still hardly buy from you or work with you.
It`s because…
Inspirational content works mostly like an instant shot of upliftment and well-being that makes people feel good while reading it but loses its effect as soon as they scroll further.
Transformational content, on the other hand, is what your people need to see that you can help them achieve the things they want; it`s what they need so that they see you as someone who knows their stuff and can help them change their lives.
For example:
In your inspirational content you might say:
‘You deserve to have it all. The successful business, the money, the partner, the house. You are worthy of this all and so much more.
When reading this, your dream client will likely think:
“Yes, thanks a lot! How come I don’t have it yet since you say I am worthy of it all?”
And it`s likely they’ll end up annoyed, scrolling further.
Instead, in your transformational content you might say:
‘Life will always reflect to you the beliefs you hold as true. When you permit yourself to believe in yourself no matter what’s going on around you, you become a match for all the things you want. The moment you start telling yourself a new story about yourself that’s when life becomes magical.’
Through content like this, you make your audience stop and reflect on how this applies to them. And it’s easy for them to think:
“This person knows what she`s talking about and she can help me get the results that I want.”
Inspirational content is not enough to get people moving.
If you read a post that says:
You are worthy of all the good life has to offer, would you go:
“I have to work with this person, she can help me and Im happy to pay her!”
Most likely not, right?
People give their money on the things they see as life-changing, not on a temporary boost of motivation.
The more you have content that shows your audience you are the person who can take them from where they are to where they want to be – that`s when they want to work with you and buy from you.
Here`s to your 10k months level,
Cristina xx

Doing the work empowers you and sets you free.
The love for writing came to me in the form of a night dream that I had in August 2007.
That night, I dreamed of myself writing books.
I literary saw myself at a table, writing books.
When I woke up the next day, I didn’t know how exactly to interpret that dream but I knew one thing:
I had to act upon it.
The pull to take action was so strong that I could not have ignored it even if I wanted to. I grabbed a few white sheets and a pen and I started writing.
The fruit of my labor will have shown 6 months in the form of the manuscript of my first novel, Seductive Ambiguity.
Every day for 6 months, I wrote daily for about 2 hours.
The excitement was there; the joy and pleasure were at their peak each time I settled in my comfortable armchair and wrote.
The connection was incredible, the flow was abundant and the thrill of discovering where the story will take me next was pure fire. Even so, there was always something that I experienced every time before started writing:
Fear.
Fear of being judged.
Fear of the unknown.
Fear that I may fail with the story.
Fear that I may not be able to write it as it was meant to be written.
Fear that everyone would laugh at me when seeing that I had a vision but failed painfully.
Fear that once published, a more experienced writer or reader might come to me and say: “Young lady, Ive read your book and it seems you haven’t done your homework properly. And you call yourself a writer? Next time spend more time on research, on studying the writing styles of the greats and on creating more complex plots.”
The embarrassment of this possible reality froze my mind many times. But I loved to write. I loved it so much. And I loved the story. There was no way I could have stopped because now the story was a part of me and so my writing. These two had become part of who I was as a human and person.
One day, as I was working on the story and experiencing once again the pleasure of writing, I said to myself:
I don’t know where the story will take me. I don’t know it will make any sense or not, in the end. Nevertheless, I will give my best at it and will write daily, having a clear focus: the pleasure of writing.
I wrote that day. I wrote the next day. I wrote the day after that and to my own surprise, the more I faced my doubts and fears that would, otherwise, have prevent me from writing, the more I expanded on all levels:
My mind, my soul and my heart and the more I expanded as a human and writer.
As I allowed myself to be carried by the story just as a boat is being carried by the river, the more I distanced myself from the negative voices in my mind. Moreover, with each day I heard them less and less, because now my whole attention was on the story and the excitement of discovering it; of seeing where it takes me, what will happen next, what the characters will do.
As I was discovering my inner universe and literary labyrinth, the more I saw the truth, the more I saw my potential and talent as a writer and novelist, and all this allowed me to accept this truth and accept that my mission in this world is to write.
The more I wrote, the more I could dig inside of me and find/see the literary diamond that is there, just like a worker goes inside the mine and the more he searches for the precious gems the more he finds them.
And once he does so, there’s no doubt in him anymore that this is what he was meant to do all along. Maybe he doubted that the gems were there but the fact that he focused and kept digging is what allowed him to find them.
Writing is not an easy journey, and I should know I’ve been doing this for so many years and I still sometimes experience fears and doubts.
In fact, the bigger the themes I aim to write about the bigger the doubts. However, at the same time, I know that the work is the remedy. I know that doing the work is the cure and those doubts and limiting beliefs won’t be silenced if one stays away from their life`s work.
On the contrary, they will be silenced only when you put in front of them the truth of who you are. You make them bow before you just like servants bow before their king when you share your work daily and you show them, thus, what extraordinary talents, gifts and skills are within you. You silence these doubts when you see, as you do your work, what you are made of – this is when fears and doubts bow their heads to you and keep quiet as there’s nothing else they can say when they see the marvel of your God-given and unique talent.
I hope this brings you today the insights and shifts you need to aim even higher.
Much love,
Cristina
