New Beginnings
So far 2014 has ushered in a six week long sinus infection. (Wonder of wonders.) It's the gift that keeps on giving. Buahahaha!
Light at yon window does break, however. I'm crawling out of my editing cave to let you know that the relaunch of Duke by Day, Rogue by Night with EsKape Press is underway. ARCs have just arrived and the tentative release date is set for March 4th, the 1st anniversary of Lost Treasure's release. Huzzah!!!
I'm in the process of creating the Rogues, Rebels & Rakes Street Team, too, so the trunk is full of more treasure to come. I'm proud to announce my wonderful and talented daughter is recreating my website, which will now include a link to sign up for a newsletter announcing my next release and a link to my blog at: www.katherinebone.wordpress.com. At last, I'll be able to share the latest news with you in one awesome place... my pirate ship!

Romancing The Jewel is Out!
Ahoy, me hearties! I've got great news! My first contemporary, formerly titled LOST TREASURE, CAPTIVE PRINCESS, has been relaunched with my new publisher EsKape Press Publishing as ROMANCING THE JEWEL. The book has a FANtastic new cover and phenomenal new editing, thanks to Kim Bowman and For The Muse designs. Woot!
The book released September 23rd and is available now! Huzzah and Hoorah!
As a historical romance author, I wanted to try writing a contemprary romance. Wonder of all wonders? I loved it! They say write what you know. Well, I'd lived in Italy for 3 years as a newlywed while my rogue served as an Army commander in Vicenza. I thought, why not write about an Italian prince and the palaces I visited. Plus, I got to combine a few of my favorite things in the process: my favorite color ~ green, emeralds, Italy, and tall, dark, and royally handsome!
Out of all the places I've lived overseas, Italy has always held a special place in my heart. As newlyweds, my rogue and I attended Italian Language School for six months in Monterey, CA. After a grand initiation to Italian culture, we flew to Italy to begin our marriage. There, in the land of love and romance, our oldest two children were born. So it makes perfect sense that the lovely, cherished memories of being a 21 year old newlywed surrounded by lavish centuries old tradition are still very dear to my heart.
Italians are gracious and kind, willing to go out of their way to help. (Under The Tuscan Sun ring any bells?) Well, ROMANCING THE JEWEL is Under The Tuscan Sun meets The Runaway Bride. It's a clash of cultures, mixed with desire and passion to achieve goals of the heart.
What happens when two people search for two totally different things and ultimately discover they were meant to find each other?
This is the epic romantic fantasy, isn't it?
Well, I'm so excited I got to relaunch my first contemporary ROMANCING THE JEWEL. And if you're in the mood for an escape, curl up with Gian-Paolo and Carolina for an afternoon, eh?

Leaves are changing color. There's a brisk wind coming out of the north. Thanksgiving is just weeks away. What a perfect time to curl up with a book, eh? So what about 10 books? (Pirate!)
This year has been such an eventful one. I've been silent here on Goodreads because my rogue had a very serious surgery three months ago. He's doing fine! Woot!!! And we're so glad to have that bit of worry out of the way.
Meanwhile, I've got the relaunch of THE ROGUE'S PRIZE coming up the end of November. Woot!!! And MY LADY ROGUE after that. Hopefully by the end of the year. And I'm busy writing two great stories for you now: the 3rd book in my Nelson's Tea Series, THE ROGUE'S SURRENDER, and a very secret novella project I just know you'll find exciting. Of course, it has to do with pirates. Buahahahaha!
