2015. Sounds a bit sci-fi doesn't it? Must mean I'm getting old. Well, nothing to be done about that. Anyway, I would like to take this moment to tell you all what I've been working on this last year and make some New Years resolutions (because if you write them down, the really stick ...right?)

Last year I wrote two new books. Both children's books: one about a mouse and one about Christmas fairies. Both are still under serious editing, and I may make an attempt to get them traditionally published. Scary.

My current writing project is a 1920's mystery set in my home town (fun right!). Well, let me tell you, historically accurate books are significantly more work than fantasy, learned that real quick!

I also have a sci-fi on the back burner and would really like to finish that sequel to Ill-fated. Get quite a few e-mails and comments about that––sorry all, I'm just too easily distracted, I guess.

All right, here it is. My New Year's resolutions:

1. Read more books off my GR list.
2. Read and Review a MG book every week on my blog.
3. Read more classic Sci-fi.
4. Read all the way through Sherlock Holmes.
5. Make a permentant friend of my local librarian.

Okay, that's it. Happy New Year to all, and good luck with your own resolutions. If they have anything that has to do with NOT READING, really, why bother?
