So Blessed!
Since the Summer freebie (one week ago today) I have been so blessed to hear and read about the people who have read (and re-read) The Heart of Arcrea! The Lord is so good to hear and answer prayers, and He has certainly done so for me.
Thank you so much to everyone who attended the freebie event, and to those who read the Heart and gave such encouraging feedback! I pray the Lord will bless those who read my books, and that His hand will be evident in each page, drawing others closer to Him!
Much love,
Nicole

One Year Milestone!
One year ago today, The Heart of Arcrea was released and I became a published author!!! I'm still amazed and thrilled every time I look at the red-blue-green trilogy sitting (in print) on my shelf! I've not had the opportunity to share the full story of my "publishing week" with many people, but here is a quick review that I wrote after the fact:
Saturday the 15th I received an email saying my book, The Heart of Arcrea, had been accepted by a partner-publisher. How exciting! This was what I had been waiting for for…a LONG time! But after a look at the terms in an author agreement, I wasn’t sure if this was something I should agree to. It was going to take quite a bit of money that I did not have, and more importantly – I didn’t have total peace about it. I prayed about it over the weekend and discussed the option with my parents, as well as sending the info to a friend more learned than I in this subject.
Then began my week of wonder!
Monday: Received info suggesting that this publisher was not the best choice for me, and given name of Create Space (an Amazon Publisher). Declined other publisher’s offer.
Tuesday: Signed up for Create Space and explored the website.
Wednesday: Formatted The Heart of Arcrea.
Thursday: Completed formatting and made book cover.
Friday: Bought copyright. Sent in book cover and interior file.
Saturday: Book approved for printing and published to Create Space & Amazon websites!
I wish I could tell you everything that happened this week that proved to me that God was at work publishing this book! In truth, the book belongs to Him, not me, and I pray that He will use it for His glory. So many little details fell into place, so many prayers were answered, and so QUICKLY! I couldn't believe my eyes Saturday morning as everything fell neatly and easily into place, and my book appeared on the computer screen! Praise the Lord for His power and His work! Thank you so much to those who were praying for me as I went through this process!
