The "Minister without Portfolio"

100 years ago next week a huge scandal broke on the front pages of the New York World. The Wilson administration had leaked the contents of Heinrich F. Albert's briefcase, which had been stolen from the head of the Secret War Council three weeks earlier. The entire German Secret Service operation in the United States laid bare. See what happened http://felixsommerfeld.com/news/mexic...The Secret War on the United States in 1915: A Tale of Sabotage, Labor Unrest, and Border Troubles (The Secret War Council)Heribert von Feilitzsch

THE DARK INVADER - A ROGUE AGENT ARRESTED 100 YEARS AGO

Franz Rintelen, a German naval intelligence agent, wrote a bestselling book about his experiences in the United States in 1915, called "The Dark Invader." Highly exaggerated, Rintelen duped historians with his stories for 100 years. In reality, he went rogue and was outed by German intelligence officials. Read the true facts

THE ROAD TO COLUMBUS: THE MONEY TRAIL AND FRANKLIN OLIN

I admit, this blog is a little hardcore. I correlated the finances of the German embassy with those of Pancho Villa and ...voila, I can prove that Germany paid for Villa's munitions. Mystery solved. It took only 100 years. Check out the facts:

The Road to Columbus: Villa's Concessions to General Scott

A new blog series, The Road to Columbus, will trace the events that led to Pancho Villa's attack on New Mexico on March 9, 1916 in weekly segments. On March 12, 2016, I will speak at Columbus for the Centennial commemoration of the raid. This last installment of the series will reveal how Villa was made to believe that attacking the United States was a good idea. Readers will have the chance to win a expenses paid trip to the event. Details to follow. Check out the first installment, Villa's concessions to General Scott. http://felixsommerfeld.com/news/mexic...Felix A. A New President for Mexico

100 years ago the President of the United States, Woodrow Wilson, contemplated a solution to the Mexican Revolution. On June 2, 1915 he issued an ultimatum to the warring factions of Venustiano Carranza, Francisco Villa, and Emiliano Zapata to come up with a candidate for the Mexican presidency that all could agree to and who would not be one of the rebel chiefs and who had to be a civilian. He, Wilson, would support this candidate in upcoming meetings of the Pan-American Conference. If the factions could not agree to a candidate, the Pan-American Conference were to choose a president for Mexico, which the United States would recognize diplomatically. Felix A. The Secret War on the United States in 1915 - Introduction

Read the introduction to my new book on the German sabotage campaign in the United States in 1915. If you are hooked, which is my expectation, get the e-book on Amazon for $9.99, the paperback from Amazon for $28, or order a hardcover from this shop and receive a 50% discount. This is the story of what really happened, not some journalistic half history haphazardly put together to get a movie deal.

The Arm of Obregon

100 years ago, General Obregon contemplated suicide in a tent in the middle of the Battle of Leon after shrapnel had severed his right arm. A German secret agent saved the day and led Obregon's army to a decisive win over Pancho Villa's forces. The arm lived on for 75 years...
