Joan Gregerson writes poetry and self-help books about personal growth, meditation, teaching and life. Joan was born in 1960 in Denver, Colorado, USA. She grew up in a big Catholic family, as the seventh of eight kids. In 1982, Joan got married and graduated from the University of Colorado in Engineering. Her kids grew up in Niwot, a small town outside of Boulder, Colorado. Extended travel has been a continuing factor in Joan's life. Bicycling and camping for six months in Australia and New Zealand in 1985 with her husband pre-kids gave her a taste of the liberating power of travel. In 1995, when their kids were six and nine years old, the four headed down to Central America and spent a year traveling around. In 1999, they took off again, t ...more

Tish Joan, you're welcome! I think you will enjoy "Have a Little Faith". It's about lessons learned from Albom's rabbi. It's very similar to "Tuesdays with Morrie".

By the way, I just finished "With Open Arms". It's a great book, and I just posted my review! Thank you so much for the book. I look forward to reading your other one!

Hi Tish, I haven't read that one, but I like the title!

I was raised 'severely Catholic', but it didn't take. I didn't like the idea of having faith in a bunch of details in old books. Later though I learned maybe what they meant by faith ...that is to trust life and not worry.

Now, I definitely have faith (...just not sure what exactly I'm trusting!) haha

Thanks for the note!

Tish Joan, I see that you read "Tuesdays with Morrie" by Mitch Albom. I have read all of Albom's books, and every one is wonderful. I encourage you to read the others if you haven't already done so. "Have a Little Faith" is probably my favorite.
