Existential Fantasy?
What the heck is Existential fantasy? Aside from a fantastic yarn featuring witches, pirates, exotic locations, and amazing adventure, The Adept Saga unfolds in a place where it is never completely clear to the reader or to the characters themselves whether they are existing in a real physical location or in some other state. There are various specific locations that provide the setting for the action of the story, some seemingly more physical than others. This other-worldly essence coalesces with the environment and social milieu of Wantanaube's world to form a framework that is equally physical and nonphysical. The story is then woven atop this framework not only for Wantanaube’s coming-of-age development, but as a general introduction to transpersonal themes like mindfulness and existence hidden within in a high-action narrative. The path of an adept through the seven rainbow layers of the Colour magical system allows us to follow Wantanaube as she grows and develops, struggles, wins triumphs, and suffers losses along the way.

My latest Henri Patriquin Novel: Resistance, is now out as a Kindle E-book, so all of those minimalists fans that didn't want to spring for the Paperback can now grab the Kindle edition instead.
I also want to express my thanks to Chelsea Thornton, my Editrix Extraordinaire for being awesome, and my friends at Mimsy Borogove Press for figuring out the rules around Legal Deposit by the Government of Canada!
Cheers.
