Who wrote The Graveyard Rats?

Does this title ring any bells? How about the main character Old Masson? A graveyard in Salem? Never read this one? This short story was published in 1936 in Weird Tales. Can you guess the author? Pulp fiction writer of the 30s and 40s. And he was a correspondent of Lovecraft. Didn't guess yet?

Read the short story at my Tales of Terror blog and find out:

That Other Evil

Wondering what "that other evil" might be? At Tuesday's Tale of Terror, you will find the short story, THE RETURN OF ANDREW BENTLEY. Not familiar? The story (black arts) was written by August W. Derleth & Mark Schorer. Derleth is well known to Lovecraft fans for his Arkham House publishing, which published most of Lovecraft's stories. Derleth wrote over 3000 stories in 350 magazines. This is an author worth discovering or rediscovering.
