Richard is working on his third career. His first was as a carpenter and roofer for twenty years while working his way through college. With a BS in Math he spent the next twenty-five years as a successful software engineer by working on the Space Shuttle at both Vandenberg AFB, and Johnson Space Center. He then went on to start Master Mind SofTools where he developed software for fortune 500 companies.

After taking early retirement in 2007, he moved to Warsaw, Missouri and built a home on the water with a view to die for. Richard now devotes his time to raising his great-grand daughter and writing. He is currently working on the second novel in the Jacob Martin series.

A View to Die For was my debut novel which was inspired by the discovery of a cave on my lake-front home on Lake of the Ozarks. I had seen an episode on the History channel about how Jesse James hid caches of gold in Missouri, Oklahoma and Kansas. Lake of the Ozarks was the Osage river before being dammed in the thirties, so it must have been an area the James brothers knew well. But like most ideas, one thing led to another and the story took on a life of its own, with barely a mention of James and his Knights of the Golden Circle. There are now three books in my To Die For series with the release in October of a Treasure to Die For.(less)

This is not a question??? I have just finished reading your 3-book series "Books To Die For" and I absolutely loved them!!! I am a dog lover so it stands to reason how much I enjoyed reading them. They are not just suspenseful but they are comical. Thank you very much...
