“I thought bridesmaid's dresses were supposed to be horrid and ugly to make the bride more stunning," I joked to her in a whisper.
"Yeah right, you marry a gorgeous actor and you want me to show up in a Goodwill special? No way sister! There are bound to be other single, gorgeous actors around, and I intend to land one of them for myself. Or get laid at the very least."...”

“..."Kevin is nothing like Kellan," I explained.
"He looks like him."
"Is that all you're interested in?
"Of course you idiot."
I smiled and shook my head at her. "You're impossible."
"Not at all! I'm just shallow!”

“My reason for being an author? Because I love to write - it fulfills me. But the fact that I entertain others by doing it is a lovely bonus.”

It just depends on the story. I admit it - I am a closet YA lover as well. I guess that's why I decided to write some. :) Thanks for the comments!
No matter how many times I edit a novel, there's always more that needs to be edited. We are all our own worst critic. Now that I've finished writing my new novel - let the torture of editing begin - again, and again, and again...
So, my girlfriends and I all went to see the new Twilight movie like we always do. It has become more of a reason just to get together over the years rather than a love of the movies. We are fans of the books though. BD2 was OK. The best part was the ending however, I do have a complaint.
