My high school English teacher


I have been writing since high school. My English teacher encouraged me to keep writing. Life took me on some difficult paths and my writing was shelved for many years. My move to North Carolina 5 years ago gave me the time and the courage to start writing again. I have joined a writer's group and would very much like to better my craft of writing.
I have written a lot of poetry but none of it has been published. The Goblet is my first published work of adventure fiction. The Goblet is the first in a series. I have written the second book and I am currently working on the third. Who knows where The Goblet will take me? ...more

I am writing about the health care experience I am having with my father in the Canadian hospital system.

I drove up from South Carolina to first Buffalo, New York on Wednesday, March 9th as my brother let me know that he had to take our father to emergency because he was having a lot of pain.  He has been having blood in his urine since Feb. 1st.  Our father was scheduled for exploratory surge
