‘Klonoa Phantasy Reverie Series’, ‘Rabio Lepus’, Plus Today’s Other Releases and Sales – TouchArcade
Hello gentle readers, and welcome to the SwitchArcade Round-Up for July 7th, 2022. Today is Tanabata here in Japan, so let’s all hope Orihime and Hikoboshi have a nice time together. We’ve got an absolute boat-load of new releases to look at today, and quite a few of them are what I tend to refer to as “dubious”. We’ve got summaries of all of them anyway, though some of them are a bit terse. We finish things up with the usual lists of new and expiring sales. Let’s fly!
New ReleasesKlonoa Phantasy Reverie Series ($39.99)
SwitchArcade Highlight!
WA-HOO! Klonoa is an awesome series featuring an awesome character that can’t ever seem to get its due in terms of mainstream success. Let’s hope this release helps. This set includes remakes of the first two Klonoa games, this time without any of the wild attempts to reimagine the character like the first remake of Klonoa tried. They’re both wonderful games, and the second game in particular is a genuinely rare sight these days. That’s my weekend sorted.
Arcade Archives Rabio Lepus ($7.99)
It’s been a long while since Hamster first announced Video System’s 1987 horizontal cute-em-up Rabio Lepus would be joining Arcade Archives, but it’s finally here. When the King of Bunnyland and his daughters are captured by alien invaders, it’s up to the Royal Combat Mecha Usagi to defeat the enemy and bring them back. This was Video System’s first shooter, and while it is a bit rough around the edges in places it’s a fun enough example of the genre to be worth playing.
QUByte Classics: Zero Tolerance Collection by PIKO ($9.99)
QUByte has another batch of games from the folks at PIKO for us. This time it’s the wildly ambitious Genesis/Mega Drive first-person shooter Zero Tolerance. You get the original game, the follow-up Zero Tolerance Underground, and an unlockable demo of the unreleased sequel Beyond Zero Tolerance. If you weren’t into gaming at the time or just don’t remember, the idea of doing a first-person shooter on the stock Genesis hardware was absolutely bananas. Zero Tolerance did it, and that is an impressive feat. Is it something you would want to play in 2022? Well… that’s what my review will help you with, I guess.
Overrogue ($14.99)
KEMCO doing a game that just isn’t the usual fare is always interesting. Together with developer EXE-CREATE, the company is trying its hand at the popular deckbuilding roguelite concept. It features five different labyrinth themes, more than three hundred different cards, tons of loot, and more. I doubt Slay the Spire has anything to fear from this, but it’s nice to see a pair of companies that tend to be defined by the extremely deep rut they’ve been in try something new. I hope it works out for them.
Forklift Extreme ($9.99)
If you like the first Shenmue but didn’t like all that pesky walking around town, talking to people, solving mysteries, playing SEGA games in the arcade, fighting people, or picking up objects and looking at them from all angles, this might be for you. That is to say, this is a game about driving a forklift. You will use your forklift to do forklift things. There’s a mobile version of it you can try out for free if you like before settling on a purchase here. I’ll be doing a review of this somewhat soon if you need all the hot details.
Understand ($9.99)
Make me! An odd puzzler where the core mechanic is that the rules change on every level. You have to figure them out through trial and error. Once you’ve got them sorted, you draw a line that meets all the requirements, and you’re off to the next level. There are more than one hundred in total to play, and some of them are real head-scratchers. One for the puzzle fan who wants something novel.
Railways ($4.99)
A little puzzle-action type game where you need to drag the trains to the right tracks in order to pick up passengers and keep things flowing properly. It has a minimalist vibe to it, following in the footsteps of fellow transportation management game Mini Metro, but it’s a bit more action-oriented. You get thirty levels to play, plus a couple of extra modes to keep the fun rolling after that. Trying to collect passengers while avoiding collisions is certainly demanding in an enjoyable way, and that reasonable price makes it all the more enticing.
Japanese Nekosama Escape the Local Train ($9.99)
Another in the series of Japanese Nekosama escape games. This one is set on a local train, which is naturally filled with cats acting like people in very suspicious ways. Solve the puzzles and find your way out before your clothes start to smell like pee.
Color Breakers ($14.99)
This is a game about completing paintings. You can play alone, but you’re better off pulling in a few friends and taking advantage of the multiplayer (online or local) for up to four players. You can work together to finish the paintings or sabotage each other if you feel like being an agent of chaos. Grab the giant colored pencil and try to complete the picture according to the target. Or don’t. Your call. The different stages throw in gimmicks that make this a lot more complicated than it sounds, in true Overcooked! fashion. If you’re looking for a new party game, this might suit you.
Harlow ($12.99)
A cute premise helps elevate this atmospheric platformer from just another exploration of trauma or whatever. You play as a little robot named Harlow, and you have an important job: gather materials and items to decorate your ship and throw a great surprise party for all the humans when they wake up from cold slumber! Most of what you need can be 3D printed by the ship itself, but you have to find the needed ingredients. That means exploring the hostile planet that the ship has landed on, carefully making your way around hazards and other tricky situations to get what you need.
Secrets of Magic 4: Potion Master ($19.99)
Well, it’s the fourth one of these. You probably know how they work by now, and if they are your thing or not. Play matching puzzles, collect decorations, and follow the story. You can try this out for free on your mobile device, and even buy the full game unlock a lot cheaper on the App Store. It’s up to you if you want to pay more than double the price to have it on your Switch.
Plan B from Outer Space: A Bavarian Odyssey ($14.99)
A quirky narrative adventure game that mixes science fiction and Bavarian culture to create something quite distinct. It’s well-written and pretty funny, to boot. Gameplay largely takes the form of making choices and playing minigames, and while a single playthrough doesn’t take very long, there are plenty of branches and endings to explore. And you’ll want to explore them, because there are a lot of interesting outcomes to arrive at. A very nifty choice-based game, so if you like those do be sure to give it a closer look.
Road of Death ($4.99)
In glancing at this one’s mind can’t help but go to Death Road to Canada, but this isn’t really that similar apart from its title and top-down zombie-killing action bits. Complete various tasks on eight different levels, or head into the endless mode and see how long you can survive. There are a number of different characters, each with their own skills and weapons, and you can upgrade them as you play. I’m kind of burnt out on this gameplay concept and theme, so I’m not going to dig much deeper into this one. If nothing else, it seems to achieve its aims decently enough.
SuperDuck! ($3.99)
Look, I may have this wrong, but this looks a lot like Krusty’s Funhouse to me. And that is not a bad thing at all. You need to lead the ducklings safely to the exit on each stage, creating and clearing a path using various objects laying about. You get fifty-six levels spread across three different themes, which isn’t bad for the price.
Sticks Collection ($2.99)
A collection of one hundred and twenty matchstick puzzles. Add, remove, or displace matchsticks to meet the requested target. Sometimes it involves math. Sometimes it just takes some logical thinking. Nothing too fancy, but at three bucks it’s probably cheaper than any matchstick puzzle book you could find.
Crazy Plane Landing ($9.99)
Wow, those are some silly planes. You have to try to land them, though. This is your burden. Another BoomHits conversion from a free-to-play mobile game, so feel free to try it on your phone first to see if you like it.
Farm Simulator USA Car Games – Driving Games & Car 2022 Farming ($17.99)
Look, it’s complete trash! Handheld mode only, because it is a low-effort mobile flip.
Luberman and The Legend of Animals Warrior – Platformer Game 2022 ($14.99)
Look, more complete trash! At least you can use the buttons to play this one.
Sales(North American eShop, US Prices)
A fair bit of stuff on sale, though obviously with the Big Ol’ Super Sale ending yesterday there isn’t a lot of really juicy stuff. Have a look at the list anyway, and be sure to check out the outbox while you’re at it. Most of the major titles ended their sales yesterday but a few opted for today instead. We’ll probably have a bigger list to look at tomorrow, though.

This episode includes a hardcore survival game with a card mechanic, a fun little arcade action game, a darker and grittier version of Archero, and a neat 3D puzzle game.

Let’s get to the games:
Papers, Please [Game Size: 70 MB] ($4.99)
Genre: Simulation / RPG – Offline
Orientation: Portrait
Required Attention: Full
tl;dr review by Cian Clark:
Papers, Please is a unique 2D simulation game in which we play as an immigration officer tasked with closely inspecting immigrants’ passports and documents for any discrepancies.
The gameplay starts off simple, with us mainly stamping passports for entry or denial. Regularly checking the rulebook is necessary for examining the passports properly, and we can even enter an inspection mode to identify discrepancies or detain suspicious individuals that may be wanted by the law.
Failing to find any inconsistencies within the documents results in a warning and eventually a salary deduction that will tighten our choices on what to spend our earnings on.
The job’s minimal pay means we are forced to carefully manage our expenses to keep our family alive, with each day adding a new fundamental rule or mechanic to the game. This keeps the gameplay from becoming repetitive and increases the difficulty as we go.
Despite its basic art style, the game effectively utilizes its darker tone and bland color palette to create a bleak and oppressive atmosphere that fits the game’s overall setting. The controls in this port have a nicely refined layout for mobile screens, making it easy to scroll through multiple documents. A pull chain is also used to engage the stamping mode and the inspect button has been moved for easier access.
Papers, Please is a $4.99 premium game with no ads or iAPs. It’s a notable indie game that is worth a play for anyone who enjoys puzzle simulation games.

Punch Kick Duck [Total Game Size: 157 MB] (Free)
Genre: Fighting / Arcade – Offline
Orientation: Landscape
Required Attention: Full
tl;dr review by NimbleThor:
Punch Kick Duck is a fun little arcade action fighting game where we use quick reflexes and precise tabs to deal with the many enemies rushing toward us from both sides of the 2D side-viewed levels.
The objective is to deal with all the enemies across 10 increasingly difficult 60-second floors. Equipped with three attacks – a punch, a kick, and a duck kick – we must use the correct attack for each of the three enemy attack types. Punch beats kick, kick beats duck, and duck beats punch. So yes, it’s essentially an action-packed version of rock, paper, scissors.
While this might sound easy, it’s not. If we trigger our attack too soon, we won’t hit anything, and if we delay for just a split-second too long, we end up losing one of our two lives and our score multiplier. Oh, and soon enough, these enemies start throwing things at us that we also have to deflect. Thankfully, the difficulty can be changed in the game settings.
When we’re not punching enemies, we can spend the currency we earn through gameplay on unlocking new cosmetic characters to play as.
The super clean art-style looks great, and the game is overall rather polished. The touch controls also work well, and there’s even Bluetooth controller support.
Punch Kick Duck monetizes via occasional forced ads, incentivized ads to revive, and a $1.99 iAP to remove these entirely. It’s a game that can be completed in just a few days, but it’s an easy recommendation for a fun casual action experience.

Typoman Remastered [Game Size: 536 MB] (Free)
Genre: Platform / Adventure – Offline
Orientation: Landscape
Required Attention: Full
tl;dr review by AlexSem:
Typoman is an atmospheric puzzle platformer set in a dark dystopian world filled with letters that form various animated objects when arranged into meaningful words.
We play as an anthropomorphic character that consists of the letters H, E, R, and O – a “hero” who is on a quest to overcome his inner insecurities, reunite with his guiding “MUSE”, face his insidious nemeses in the form of HATE, DOOM, and FEAR, and rescue the troubled land from the tyranny of an all-devouring powerful beast.
Not armed with any weapons, we traverse the game’s harsh surreal locations by jumping over pits, climbing ladders, swinging on the ropes, pulling switches, picking up and throwing letters, and performing other environment manipulations.
The biggest asset at our disposal is the Word Scrambler, which allows us to create words from the letters lying around. With this tool, we’re able to RISE platforms, OPEN doors, turn ON the machinery, and even summon RAIN. As the story progresses, we get access to even more interesting words, among which I find the option to use “LIE” to change a word into its antonym to be the most amusing.
My only issue with the game is the sometimes-unresponsive touch controls that occasionally lead to failing the intense sequences that require quick reaction and fast movement.
Aside from the story-driven campaign, the game also features a couple of enjoyable minigames that have us make up words on time, or form antonyms to obtain missing letters. These games may appeal to people who prefer word puzzles over action platformers.
This remastered version of Typoman contains no ads, but after the first free chapter, we need to buy a single $6.99 iAP to unlock the full game.
Even though the game feels too short and doesn’t fully realize its potential, I highly recommend it to any fan of clever platforming adventures.

Timberman The Big Adventure [Game Size: 285 MB] (Free)
Genre: Platform / Action – Offline
Orientation: Landscape
Required Attention: Full
tl;dr review by AlexSem:
Timberman The Big Adventure is a challenging action platformer about a kind lumberjack and his inseparable bear friend, who venture on a perilous journey to rescue the kidnapped Mrs. Bear from the clutches of the vicious Evil Corp.
In order to achieve their goal, they will be chopping down trees, collecting coins, saving wildlife, wrecking corporate property, and punching the faces of angry construction workers.
Despite looking like a simple coin-collecting platformer, the game actually features a lot of things to do, such as double-jumping on platforms, slowly gliding across gaps, ducking to take cover, throwing boxes and barrels, operating switches, chopping trees to make bridges, and much more.
Each of the beautifully designed levels has us navigate a challenging obstacle course while gathering various collectibles scattered throughout the map and searching for the exit. And since we have limited lives, we must tread carefully instead of rushing forward.
A huge portion of the gameplay is dedicated to combat against enemies. Thankfully, we have a large arsenal of moves, such as regular punches, long-distance dashes, powerful slams from above, and axes that can be thrown. And to make things even better, each chapter features a powerful boss that requires a unique and creative approach to defeat.
The most interesting feature is definitely the local co-op that is available if two controllers are connected to the same device. While most won’t utilize this feature, it’s fantastic for those who will.
Timberman is free to try for the first chapter, with forced ads shown every time we die. A $6.99 iAP unlocks the full game and removes the ads – a price that decreases to $4.99 if you complete the demo part first.
Despite being rather short, the game is great for anyone fond of nice-looking platformers.

Pine Tar Poker (Game Size: 173 MB] ($3.99)
Genre: Card – Offline
Orientation: Landscape
Required Attention: Some
tl;dr review by Kaylake:
Pine Tar Poker is an interesting, stylized take on both traditional poker and dice games like “Yahtzee.” Its little narrative touches here and there, combined with intriguing unlockable items, elevate it to more than its simple premise would at first suggest.
After arriving at a bar straight out of the old American West, we’re greeted by a friendly barkeep ready to pour us a drink and tell us all about this game that the locals play. Essentially, he deals the cards while our objective is to score as many points as possible by forming specific, traditional poker hands like 3-of-a-kind and full house. Think “Yahtzee” but with playing cards and poker hands taking the place of dice combos, and you’re on the right track.
After a couple of rounds, the barkeep then encourages us to spend our winnings on mysterious items in his shop, as well as the occasional drink. The former can do myriad things like giving us extra draws, helping us count cards, and even fully defying the very rules of the game. The drinks are completely optional and provide us with new insight into the bartender’s character, which adds a bit of much-appreciated lore and personality to the game.
As fun as the gameplay is and as much as the items help change things up, I should note that some players may find it too short or too simple to be worth the cost.
Pine Tar Poker is a $3.99 premium game without ads or iAPs. Since you can technically beat it in just a few hours, the price may seem a little high – but its replayability is excellent and that’s why it’s likely to stay installed on most players’ devices even after all its secrets are unearthed.

Pocketgamer Connects London: What can games do to improve the world? | Pocket Gamer.biz
Pocketgamer Connects London 2023 is well underway, with a schedule chocked full of industry experts and insiders discussing a variety of topics, and giving their views on the industry.
One such panel saw a group of experts discuss not just the industry, but the positive effect that games can have on the world at large.
The panelists were: UN Environment Chief of Youth, Education and Advocacy Sam Barratt; GamesForest.Club Initiator and Managing Director Georg Braxtermann; remote control productions Business Development Manager Katerina Burbela; Game Academy co-founder and CEO David Barrie; Infinity Games Head of Monetisation Miguel Sousa, and LBC Studios CEO and co-founder Solon Bucholtz.
The panel discussed numerous ways that gaming has affected positive change in the past, and the willingness players have to affect change. One example cited was the Pokémon Go Beach Cleanings, which sees players of the Niantic hit take to beaches around the world on April 22 every year to participate in keeping them clean in an effort to protect the environment.
The panel also stressed the importance not just of integrating good causes into the games, but in leading by example. The panel cited a study which showed that 88 percent of consumers feel more loyalty to companies which are supporting environmental issues, while 74 percent of employees at these companies feel more fulfilled. As such, it’s clear that not only do businesses which champion environmental causes have a positive impact on the planet, but the effort is rewarded by more engaged customers – and employees.
Connecting us to a world we can saveAlthough the climate crisis may seem dire, the panel stressed the importance of action. Gaming can inspire consumers to act, making sensible changes in an effort to live in a more environmentally friendly way. Moreover, gaming is quickly proven to be a leader among industries in terms of not only championing climate action, but making significant changes.
Crucially, the panel noted that emissions often come from unlikely places, citing a recent study which found that 30 percent of Activision Blizzard emissions came from user acquisition. As such, game makers should consider their actions and the environmental cost, as well as consider more ecologically friendly alternatives.
The panel also discussed the positive impact gaming can have not on the environment, but on the player base, citing players who have forged connections with like-minded people through gaming. Such connections can prove vital to the mental health of users, especially as they may allow connections between people who are unable to freely express themselves due to local regulations. Gaming, therefore, doesn’t just offer the potential to platform meaningful change but to enact it on a wide scale.
In October, we reported that Iran has blocked the popular title Clash of Clans amid concerns that protestors against the government could use the in-game chat feature to arrange demonstrations.

Silver Star Story Touch’ Receives Massive 3.0 Update With New Options, Music, and More – TouchArcade
It’s been a little while since the last update to SoMoGa’s fine port of Lunar, Lunar: Silver Star Story Touch ($9.99). It’s been a longer while since its last major update, version 2.0. Four years and eight years, respectively. Well, late last week SoMoGa suddenly dropped an astounding update to the game, bringing it up to a spiffy 3.0 with a ton of great features. Let’s go through all of it, shall we?
So, Lunar: Silver Star Story Touch. The only way to buy the English version of Lunar in any form these days shy of diving into the second-hand stores or picking up that PSP remake. Even SEGA couldn’t swing a deal to bring the English version of the SEGA-CD original to its Genesis Mini 2. That makes this a rather important app, and one that I certainly wouldn’t want to see disappear. Publisher SoMoGa isn’t exactly active on the App Store, with just this game and Vay ($0.99) in its catalog. With literal presidential terms passing between updates at times, it wouldn’t be weird to expect them to throw in the towel and head home.
But no! Glorious update! Amazing update! In the category of graphics, the game now runs at 60 fps on all compatible devices. Excellent. Widescreen support has been improved, and a number of effects that haven’t been working right since the original Saturn version are now properly implemented. The audio quality has been improved, and you can now choose between the PSP and Saturn versions of the soundtrack. You can also adjust audio levels separately for various components in case you want the music to be quieter than the voices or something.
Tons of new Bluetooth controllers are supported now, and the settings can actually be accessed in-app rather than having to go through your device’s Settings app. Yes, this app is that old. You can now speed up gameplay in both battles and exploration, allowing you to move through the game more quickly. You can now hide the touch controls and switch to the classic UI in case you’re playing with a controller and want a more vintage feel, and you can switch between two different difficulty settings. The easier one lines up with the Japanese Saturn version, while the harder one matches the American PlayStation version done by Working Designs.
In essence, you can pretty much Saturn this port up or down as you prefer. And that is awesome. The only casualty here seems to be the ability to play the game in Portrait mode. If the feature is still there, I must have missed it. If it is gone, that is somewhat unfortunate. Sometimes I just like to play Lunar with one hand while I’m sword-fighting with Mikhail with my other hand. But it’s a small price to pay for all of these fine improvements. The app has been completely rejuvenated, giving me renewed hope that if I nag SoMoGa enough we will get a port of Lunar: Eternal Blue someday. You have given a Nall a cookie here, my friends.
You’ll need a device that uses an A10 CPU or better to use this new version of the game. That means an iPhone 7 or up, or an Apple TV 4K, that sort of thing. Provided you do (and I hope you do), you can update your game or go ahead and buy it if you haven’t before and dig into a fancy-pants version of one of the finest RPGs of the 16-bit era. Seriously, though. Lunar: Eternal Blue. Conk whoever you have to on the head to make it happen.

5 Quick Tl;Dr Android Game Reviews / Recommendations (Episode 246) : AndroidGaming
Happy mid-December Friday, everyone
And welcome back to this weekly mobile game recommendation tradition. These are some of the most interesting games I played and that were covered on MiniReview this week. Hope you’ll enjoy it.
Support these posts (and YouTube content + development of MiniReview) on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/NimbleThor <3
This episode includes a neat racing game ported to mobile, a good turn-based strategy game, a deck-building roguelike game, a relaxing simulation RPG, and a fun fast-paced arcade microgame experience.
Disagree with my opinion? Let’s have a friendly discussion below.
New to these posts? Check out the first one from 246 weeks ago here.
Let’s get to the games:
Wreckfest [Game Size: 5 GB] ($9.99)
Genre: Racing – Online + Offline
Orientation: Landscape
Required Attention: Full
tl;dr review by NimbleThor:
Wreckfest is a fun spiritual successor to the FlatOut racing games, featuring a mix of demolition derby and traditional races with vehicles that we buy and upgrade as we progress.
The goal of a race in Wreckfest depends on the game mode, but equal for all of them is that we can bump into opponents to gradually destroy their vehicles. This creates a chaotic but fun gameplay experience where not getting destroyed is just as important as being fast.
And while the game is high-quality and polished, it really doesn’t take itself too seriously, with some matches having us race on lawnmowers and couches.
The game features a career mode, custom events, tournaments with weekly and daily challenges, and even online multiplayer. The multiplayer isn’t very active, however, so you should consider this mostly a single-player game, with the option to play online with friends.
Completing races earns us XP and gold, which we use to buy new vehicles and parts. And there truly are a ton of upgrades for each vehicle. Not to mention that we can tune the suspension, gear ratio, differential, and break balance for each car to customize it further.
The art-style is decent, and nothing beats crashing into an opponent at full speed, with cars and parts flying everywhere. The controls are also decent and have some of the deepest customization settings I have ever seen. There’s also Bluetooth controller support.
Wreckfest is a $9.99 premium game with DLC packs for new cars and cosmetic options. They can be bought individually or via two big packs for $9.99 and $7.99.
Despite a few minor bugs, it’s a well-made port of the full PC game. The biggest downside is that the game and vehicles never feel as fast as I remember from FlatOut, and it really holds the game back. It’s still one of the best within the sub-genre on mobile, though.

Heroes of Flatlandia [Total Game Size: 116 MB] ($2.49)
Genre: Strategy – Offline
Orientation: Landscape
Required Attention: Full
tl;dr review by AlexSem:
Heroes of Flatlandia is a beautiful turn-based strategy game with tactical battles that resembles legendary classics such as Warlords, Age of Wonders, and Heroes of Might & Magic.
After choosing one of four available factions, we venture into a brightly colored 3D fantasy world, where we compete over territorial control against rival factions. On each turn, we can hire and move units across the map to collect resources, and upgrade our capital to increase our prosperity and provide better combat options.
There is only one resource to manage, and the kingdom development options are limited, but thankfully, this doesn’t strongly affect the game’s strategic depth.
What makes the game stand out are its fully 3D-rendered tactical battles against enemy armies or neutral creatures. These battles take place on a separate hexagonal field, where we take turns moving our troops, slashing enemies, shooting projectiles from afar, and casting powerful spells.
Each player has a unique main hero that accumulates XP and gains new abilities as we go, but since combat can be initiated by any unit, we’re faced with the common tactical dilemma of whether to split our troops to cover greater areas, or combine them to increase their combat efficiency.
The game provides a set of single-player scenarios and hot-seat multiplayer against up to four opponents. Unfortunately, the AI doesn’t offer much of a challenge, and there is no story campaign. Online multiplayer is also still on the way.
Heroes of Flatlandia costs $2.49, and there’s also a separate demo version to try before buying. Despite its simplicity and lack of long-term content, it still provides an enjoyable experience for fans of well-made strategy games.

Indies’ Lies [Game Size: 906 MB] (Free)
Genre: Deck-Building / Roguelike – Offline
Orientation: Landscape
Required Attention: Full
tl;dr review by AlexSem:
Indies’ Lies is a cards-based roguelike dungeon crawler inspired by the likes of Slay the Spire – but with lots of interesting ideas of its own.
As is common within the genre, we descend three dungeon floors while fighting regular and elite enemies, collecting loot, improving our deck, and visiting shops and random events – all to ultimately face the powerful boss waiting at the end.
During the turn-based battles, we’re able to see in advance all the attacks the enemies are going to launch at us, and thus counteract accordingly. Unfortunately, all the nine available characters use the same cards, and except for a couple of unique interactions, play quite similarly.
The key difference between each run lies in several companions we can hire after boss battles. Each completed floor allows us to place one of these new party members in the front or back row, which affects their abilities and vulnerabilities.
Since each companion has its own health and a unique deck of cards, it’s important to achieve synergy between the cards of our different characters. Another interesting feature is the special Rune cards that can either be played on their own or combined with other cards to grant additional effects.
The game looks pleasant, with a colorful art-style and energetic music, but the abundance of small text makes it difficult to enjoy on small screen sizes. It also shows frequent performance drops and overall high resource demands – something that will hopefully be optimized in the future.
Indies’ Lies monetizes through unskippable ads between floors, and $2.99 DLC packs with additional content. Buying any of the DLC also disables the ads, so if you enjoy the core mechanics, they’re a great way to support the developer.

Merchant [Game Size: 105 MB] (Free)
Genre: Simulation / RPG – Offline
Orientation: Portrait
Required Attention: Little (semi-idle)
tl;dr review by NimbleThor:
Merchant is a crafting and trading-focused RPG where we collect resources, craft items, and hire heroes to fight for us.
Playing as a merchant, we first send our heroes out on missions to kill creatures and gather resources. Then, we use those resources to craft items, equip some of them on our heroes, and sell the rest to NPCs visiting our shop.
And since we need lots of gold to craft items, it’s all about finding a balance between which items to equip to improve our heroes, and which to sell so we don’t run out of gold. As we progress, we also quickly end up with lots of items, making inventory management a big part of the game.
As a game that doesn’t require much attention, it’s a perfect “pick up and play” experience. Later into the game, our heroes can also fight for 30+ minutes without any input from us, edging the game into the idle genre territory.
I quite enjoyed the feeling of being a merchant and the decision-making that came with it. There are tons of items to craft, and therefore lots of tactical decisions to be made about where we send our heroes so they can gather the resources we need the most.
The biggest downside is that the UI is very confusing at first, and there’s no proper explanation of what to do. Thankfully, it’s a simple game that is easy to get the hang of.
Merchant monetizes through occasional incentivized ads and iAPs for a few $2.99 DLCs with new maps, more hero slots, and additional inventory space. There’s also a $14.99 iAP to unlock everything, including cosmetic skins that are also sold separately. These DLCs are not necessary to enjoy the game, but they do greatly expand it.

pureya (Game Size: 119 MB] ($3.99)
Genre: Arcade – Offline
Orientation: Portrait + Landscape
Required Attention: Full
tl;dr review by CloverQ:
Pureya is a fun microgame compilation packed with quick-reflex action and a new game every 10 seconds.
In each run, we must collect as many marbles as possible across ten microgames that each last ten seconds. These marbles act as currency at a pachinko board, where our spoils are gambled away for a chance at new levels, cosmetics, and music tracks.
Each of the individual microgames boast unique playstyles that have us control everything from rubber ducks to pirate ships in our quest to collect marbles. While many of these games are simple obstacle-dodgers with slight variations in physics, others have some more depth, such as the soccer game where marbles spawn only after a successful goal.
Pureya ditches the life-system common for the genre, replacing it instead with inconvenience. Dying forces a wait-period before respawning, which in turn means less time in the microgame and ultimately fewer marbles. Good performance, on the other hand, leads to the game getting faster and more difficult, granting us more marbles at the expense of peace and quiet.
It’s a simple gameplay loop that offers plenty of content to chew on while tapping into a primal desire to play well and gamble even better. Unfortunately, some games have slippery controls or are weaker than others in concept or execution. Thankfully, the duds are few and far between.
Pureya is a $3.99 premium game that is also available through Google Play Pass. While not the flashiest microgame collection out there, its addictive gameplay loop and bountiful unlocks add a high level of replayability.

Best Gaming Mouse Under 1000
When looking for the finest gaming mouse around 1000 rupees, keep in mind that there will be trade-offs in terms of longevity and quality. Having saying that, the majority of the gaming mice on our list will be a suitable starting point for novice gamers or those wishing to get into PC gaming. In general, when looking for a gaming mouse, you want something with a decent sensor, something that is comfortable to use for long periods of time, and features that you might want from a mouse, such as extra buttons, RGB lighting, and so on.
Below we have mentioned some of the best gaming mouse under 1000.
Best Gaming Mouse Under 1000.Redragon Phaser M609The Redragon Phaser M609 gaming mouse is ideal for players looking for a gaming mouse around 1000 Rs with average DPI settings that is comfortable for LONG gaming sessions. It’s a wired gaming mouse constructed of plastic with a matte finish.
However, we can notice a glossy surface around the palm region and rubber around the thumb, which improves grip. The Redragon Phaser M609 Gaming Mouse has an average weight. Some gaming mice are very light and do not provide a quality feel, but this mouse is not one of them.
Dragonwar ELE-G9 ThorThis gaming mouse from Dragonwar has several wonderful features that make it the greatest gaming mouse under 1000 rupees.By the way, I’ve also produced a special review on the Dragonwar ELE-G9 Thor, in which I describe all of its characteristics in depth.
One of the things I loved best about this is that we have the choice of using 800 DPI. Some gamers are accustomed to playing at low DPI, and this mouse may be a better alternative for them.
We also get driver customization with the Dragonwar gaming mouse, which means we may customise it to some extent.
Zinq TechnologiesFor those gaming enthusiasts, the mouse from Zinq Technologies is one of the greatest gaming mice available. The mouse’s characteristics are designed to meet the demands of gamers. This mouse assists you in keeping ahead of the game. It is easy to grasp, and the brilliant coloured lights provide a great experience.

Phoodle Today Answer – November 26
Looking for the answer for Phoodle today? Well, you’ve arrived in the right place. In this guide, we’re going to provide you with the answer for today’s puzzle. We’ll also keep this guide updated with the solution for every subsequent puzzle. With that in mind, we recommend that you bookmark this page and check back daily so you never get stuck again.
Phoodle is almost exactly the same game as Wordle, but with one key difference: all of the words you’re guessing are based on food. That could be a type of food, a famous culinary personality, or, well, anything related to that world. It does help you narrow down your guesses though, but the actual game remains similar. Guess a food word, green letters are in the word in the right place, yellow are in the word in the wrong place, and the rest of the letters aren’t in the word.
You can play Phoodle on the official website. If you’re a fan of daily word games, we’ve got plenty more where that came from. Check out our Weaver today, Poeltl today, Semantle today, Dordle today, and Quordle today solutions.
What Is Phoodle?Phoodle is a Wordle-like daily puzzle game that challenges you to guess a specific word every single day. Unlike Wordle, in which the word can be anything in the dictionary, Phoodle focuses on food-focused words. This could be a type of food, a famous chef, or a technique performed while making food. There’s a surprising amount of depth.
How Does It Work?Well, pretty much like Wordle. Guess a word (remember, it has to be food-based), any letters that appear in the word in the correct place are marked green. Yellow letters are in the word but in the wrong place, while uncoloured letters don’t appear in the word. You use these clues to help narrow down the correct word.
Phoodle Today – DefinitionBefore we just straight up give you the answer, here’s a definition for today’s word that might help you get there:
Tips and TricksVowels: A similar strategy to Wordle works well here. Start by using words with plenty of vowels, as they appear in most words and will give you a good jumping off point. Try and use all vowels in your first two words.Food: After this point, think of food, or food-related words that have letters in the place described. You should be able to make some ground here.Definition: If you’re still struggling, our definition above can help.
