“I wish it need not have happened in my time," said Frodo.
"So do I," said Gandalf, "and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.”

“To hear never-heard sounds,
To see never-seen colors and shapes,
To try to understand the imperceptible
Power pervading the world;
To fly and find pure ethereal substances
That are not of matter
But of that invisible soul pervading reality.
To hear another soul and to whisper to another soul;
To be a lantern in the darkness
Or an umbrella in a stormy day;
To feel much more than know.
To be the eyes of an eagle, slope of a mountain;
To be a wave understanding the influence of the moon;
To be a tree and read the memory of the leaves;
To be an insignificant pedestrian on the streets
Of crazy cities watching, watching, and watching.
To be a smile on the face of a woman
And shine in her memory
As a moment saved without planning.”

Hi, thanks for the friend request. It seems you are a budding reader, and it is so amazing that you have inspired the love of reading in others. I'm also glad that you have read the classics but not stuck to those, as no matter how much I love classics, I couldn't only read those and nothing else. Feel free to recommend any of the good books to me, and I will have a browse of your shelf to see what you like and possibly recommend some to you. :)
Hi, Mimi/Ali! x) It's really nice to meet you -- I wish you the best with writing your fantasy novel! I'm actually writing my own right now too, and it's always cool to meet other aspiring authors on GR :) <3
