Armando Returns - loose ends?

I'm going to try to say this without being spoilerific...
I've had a few readers ask me about the issue with Katie's parents and their opposition to Armando, and why it wasn't resolved in More Than a Maid.
I've then reminded readers of a conversation with Dwayne and Lisa at the end of Armando Returns - that's where it was resolved. So far, their response has been, "Oh... I remember now..."
I promise, there is resolution. When I wrote Armando's book, I knew what was going to happen in Ramon's. One of my top priorities in book three was tying up loose ends and answering questions.
This hasn't really come up with readers who have gone straight from Armando's book to Ramon's. But for those who waited for Ramon's book for a while...
Remember: Katie's mom had an agenda.
