Matteo Zapparelli è nato e cresciuto a Verona, meravigliosa città racchiusa tra le acque azzurre del Lago di Garda e la verdeggiante pianura padana. Città che, nonostante si aggiri per le sue vie da oltre trent’anni, non smette mai di stupirlo e di incantarlo.

Accanito lettore fin da giovanissimo e appassionato di letteratura americana, apprezza scrittori e generi letterari tra loro diversissimi. Scrive fin da ragazzino: suoi racconti e poesie sono stati pubblicati su riviste, in antologie, e alcuni sono stati finalisti di premi letterari.

Laureato in architettura al Politecnico di Milano, da diversi anni collabora con singoli autori e case editrici in qualità di editor freelance, e in passato ha lavorato come agente letterario.
