NOVEMBER NEWSLETTER

Please to Remember the Fifth of November

Gunpowder, Treason, and Plot

I love fireworks. In Japan we saw them at most festivals, great glorious explosions of colour which filled the wide sky. There's a fu...

CORRECTED OCTOBER NEWSLETTER

https://preview.mailerlite.com/d9e0u4...

So sorry everyone, and apologies to my fellow writers, I lost half the group promotions we are part of which should be in the newsletter. So here is the newsletter as it should be. Must be the warm spring weather and the blaze of cherry blossom in the park affecting my brain.

October newsletter of Free and Bargain e-books: My Monthly Book Roundup + Free Historical Gems

 OCTOBER NEWSLETTER

The JUNE apology

Those of you who have ever been involved working with or for a large organisation will know that if the top people are a bit iffy then there will be problems. When your organisation has been working well with good leaders then the new leader had better be, at the least, okay. Alas, back in 2018, in our Anglican (Episcopalian) chu...

Hanami. A time to enjoy the fleeting beauty of spring, especially those fragile cherry and fruit tree blossoms which open, blaze like stars, and drift apart, petal by petal, floating away. In Japan we each took our lunch time bento box of delicacies to the shiro (castle) and in the castle gardens we'd sit under the many cherry trees and my Japanese colleagues would try to compose poems about how the falling petals...
