So Much Story ...
... Not enough space.
BOOK TWO of Ewan's adventures is going along smoothly. A downpour. A flood of words. So many in fact that I'm wondering how I'm going to fit them all into the one book. There are new characters, storylines within which they intercede with the storylines already running through the tale, new locations and what happens within them and Creatures - oh how there are Creatures!
BOOK TWO is intended to be shorter than Ewan Pendle and the White Wraith, which is nearly 500 pages long for the sheer reason that it had to be. There was so much to be told and shown in the beginning. But now you all have a good idea about what the world looks like, and how it works, more time (and page space) can be dedicated to charging headlong into the story.
And of course Ewan is now no longer a newbie at Firedrake, and with this comes changes and growing of vines from his own personality. Add into the mix over a dozen new characters, some hairy out of school adventures and a MASSIVE secret revealed, one which will have earthquake inducing ramifications later on in the series and, well, it's a lot to pack into one book ... But restassured reader and writing friend alike - I will get there. S.H.

Release Day
And so Halloween 2018 has rolled around, and along with it the release of EWAN PENDLE AND THE CASTLE OF NIGHTMARES! If you’re going to do anything today, buying my spooky book and sitting down to read it by the light of a flickering Jack-O-lantern would be a pretty darn good thing!
It’s been six years between book one and book two in the series of Ewan Pendle’s somewhat unfortunate events. But as far as the story goes, little time has passed.
While I’m not expecting a landslide of sales, I hope this next chapter is at least some little joy to those who did read book one, and were keen to continue on and see what happens next. That said, I’m sure there will be a fair share of people who don’t like it either! And that’s ok, this part is bit darker than the first. But the reasons for that, I hope, will be evident …
Anyhow, if you are able to read it, thanks for continuing the story! If you have no idea what I’m even talking about, go grab yourself EWAN PENDLE AND THE WHITE WRAITH for FREE, and delve into the adventure where it all began … S.H.
