Website
I have taken one more reluctant step into the century of progress. I am teaching myself to build a website. This is equal to an elementary student teaching herself to build a space machine. Tricky to say the very least.
Nonetheless, I have gained a foothold of success.
The website bears an original name: www.ryanjosummers.com. It has several pages now, the About, the website, the contact page, blog link page with pet photos, an excerpt page, a video page yet to have videos added and as of today, a poetry page in which to showcase bits of my poetry.
So please feel free to check it out and leave me a comment about what you thought. I would appreciate it.

Second Book
For those who might not have read about in the other social media sites,
I recently signed with Soul Mate Publishing for the release of my second novel, "Shimmers of Stardust".
Slated to be launched in September 2014 as ebook and later in 2015 in paperback form, this is the exciting story of 18th century war hero turned outlaw who is hanged in 1869. He survives until he is discovered by a modern day anthropologist.
Learning what some obsessed physicists have in mind to study the time traveling cowboy, our heroine grabs him and runs. The chase is on!
Covering the desert and mountains of Arizona and New Mexico, they are pursued, hunted and must survive on next to nothing. And discover a love that transcended time.
Will that love be enough to keep them alive as the military closes in on them? Will the heroine's strong Christian faith turn the outlaw bad boy's heart?

Exciting times
The arrived in the mail, wrapped in a plain brown box. On the 'ship to' label between my name and address were the words that caught my eye, holding it: Romance Author. Guess it's official now.
Holding my first published novel, gently liks a newborn, my fingers caressed the cover as I tenderly thumbed through the pages looking for familiar scenes and favorite lines.
I won't lie, my toes were shaking, my knees trembling, my heart thudding and pulse racing. I am actually holding my book! I love the cover, the size of it, the fit into my hand. My name is boldly splashed across the cover, the spine and each page inside.
Running my fingertips down the row of stacked spines, I feel the shiver of excitement racing down my own spine. Stacks of my book, ready to go marching like good little soldiers, into the world of retail readers.
