Carol V.A. Quinn holds a doctorate in philosophy from Syracuse University. She is Professor of philosophy at MSU Denver and the institution's 2017 recipient of the Outstanding Woman Faculty Award. Her most recent novel, The Glorious Life of Jessica Kraut: An Adventure in Eastern and Indigenous Religions and Philosophies, was published on November 30, 2017. She is also coauthor of The Rashomon Tea and Sake Shop: On the Nature and Existence of God and the Afterlife (2016).
Quinn dabbles in oil pastels and plays the guitar (badly). She and her husband have two deeply neurotic dogs. She prays every day, to any god who might listen, that Colorado would get an ocean. ...more
