Dr. Jenny Butler, Ph.D. (Folklore and Ethnology, University College Cork, 2013; B.A., Philosophy and Folklore, UCC, 2001), is a Lecturer in the Study of Religions Department at University College Cork, where she is a faculty member of the College of Arts, Celtic Studies and Social Sciences and sits on the College Executive Management Committee (CEMC). Previously she was a Lecturer in Folklore and Ethnology at the same institution.
Dr. Butler is the Secretary of The Irish Society for the Academic Study of Religions (ISASR), a Committee Member of the Anthropological Association of Ireland (AAI), and a formal Collaborator of University College Cork's Marginalised and Endangered Worldviews Study Centre (MEWSC).
