Every writer has that time and place where they can really get in the zone. It's a place where the world is shut out and they've tapped into their creativity. It's where words, pages, and chapters pour out of us. It's the stuff that keep our readers coming back for more.
Before the sunrises, before my husband and kids wake up, I sit on my balcony listening to the sounds of the earth. My Dell sits on my lap warming it from the morning chill. I inhale the peace of a new day and slip my headphones on. Words of worship fill my ears and I allow God to rid my mind of stress, worry, doubt, and fear.

Have you ever met someone who made your heart skip a beat? Their voice, Their smile, the way they walk...everything about them made you feel like a teenage girl with sweaty palms and knotted stomach whenever her crush was near. You wanted him and he wanted you, but everything in your past tells you to runaway from what your heart wanted. If so,then you can relate to my new book What The Heart Wants. Meme Wright has been destroyed by love and has sworn off all men until she meets the one she can't ignore. That easy natural connection is too hard to pass up and she finds herself on a roller coaster of emotions with ups, down, twists, and turns that will make you wonder if she'll ever find love.

Writing a book is such a huge accomplishment. Thousands maybe even millions say they want to do it. Some even start, but very few finish. I am proud to be one of the few. With my 3rd book set to release on the 19th of July, excited doesn't even begin to describe how I'm feeling. What's even more amazing, people are reading and loving my work. I am grateful these avid readers take the time to see what little old me has to say.
