If I get "writer's block" the problem is one of two things: either I don't know what I'm talking about, and need to do more reporting; or I've wandered mentally.

The "fix" is real simple: I open up a blank document and make myself write, in one sentence and no more, what this article or chapter or portion of chapter is about. It works wonderfully.(less)
