Ljiljana “Lilly” Benton is a debut author whose work weaves memory and imagination into lyrical, emotionally charged fiction.

Her writing explores universal themes of resilience, identity, and the deeper truths beneath our stories, often leaving echoes that linger beyond the page.

Born in Croatia, Lilly now lives in the Lake Norman area of North Carolina with her husband, Andrew, and their two dogs, Bon Bon and Watson. She works in accounting while pursuing her passion for storytelling alongside her professional career.

Her debut novella, Somewhere in Between, is now available. She is currently developing additional works set in the same world, along with new projects that expand her exploration of short literary fiction.
