Amy Ayla was born and raised in Southern Arizona, where she currently resides with her partner and energetic senior dog. She draws on her experience in the mental health, special education, and higher education fields to create stories centered on healing, love, acceptance, and emotional growth.

A lifelong reader, Amy has found inspiration and comfort in some of her favorite books. When she’s not writing or reading, she’s attending a dance fitness class, lifting weights in her home gym, drinking way too much iced tea, collecting Winnie the Pooh memorabilia, or happily embracing the role of auntie to a bunch of rambunctious nieces and nephews.
