New class, guest blog and award nominations - squee!

it's been a lively couple of days. :-)

I've got the honor of going first for Outer Alliance's new guest blog feature, talking about "A Day at the Inn, A Night at the Palace and Other Stories" - http://blog.outeralliance.org/archive...
This is modeled on Scalzi's Big Question posts and was really fun to work on.

I'll be teaching a new class at The Loft Literary Center in February, this time in writing and marketing LGBTQ fiction. It will focus on finding your audience, publishers and self-publishing and what to do with your work once it's published. Registration is open now -

Check out the other classes as well; David Schwartz (snurri) is offering a class on contemporary fantasy which looks great.

And in award news, "A Day at the Inn, A Night at the Palace and Other Stories" is officially up for a Tiptree. :-) The site's not updated yet but guessing it will be soon.

"Day" and "Hellebore and Rue" are running against each other and other fine books for the Lambdas
http://www.lambdaliterary.org/awards/... and the Goldies, and the Spectrums. Should be an exciting award season in these parts. :-)
