I'm a historian of early America, specifically of family and politics, the director of a rare books library, the John Carter Brown Library, and a history professor at Brown University. I love to read and write about history, libraries and archives. I can't think of many things I love more than reading in general and I'm always looking for more time to read! I'm usually reading several non-fiction and fiction books at once.
