K. Septya was born and raised in Indonesia and now lives in France with her husband and two children. A quiet, introverted soul, she finds comfort in cozy days at home, books, and peaceful moments, though she also loves traveling and discovering new places.

Whispers in the Storm is her debut novel, inspired in part by her own journey as a survivor of sexual assault. Writing became a way to heal and reclaim her voice, and she hopes her words offer comfort, strength, and understanding to others who may see themselves in her story.
