The Path to "Worthy Still"

This moment of writing my first blog post as an official author is surreal and sacred. While I have had a passion for writing books since the second grade, I never thought a memoir/devotional would be the first book I would publish. Life has a way of leading you down a path that is ultimately best for you, though at the time, it may not feel that way.

After my life-altering car accident, I began documenting my journey in my phone's 'Notes' app. Every hurdle, triumph, disappointment, setback, small moments of gratitude and lessons of healing paved a road ahead that I could not keep cloaked by fear or insecurity. I have no doubt that God has revealed this path to me so that I can share this vital fact with others who are hurting: despite the pain, sleepless nights and weary days, hope and self-worth are not only ever present, but are woven into your very being.

My story does not promise restoration to your previous self. It elevates you to a higher plane. Your eyes will be opened to the provision that God pre-appointed for you, the transformative power of rest and the truth that your worth was never tied to what you can or cannot do.

Whether you are in recovery, healing from trauma or exhausted from one challenge after another, let this truth illuminate your path: healing is usually non-linear and that is ok; faith grows stronger in our weakest moments, and worth is fortified through life's trials.

It is confirmed in my spirit that "Worthy Still" is just the beginning. Having you here with me is no accident. I am overjoyed that God has cleared away the brush so that our paths could meet.
