Born and raised in Belgium, Michael writes science fantasy with a particular bend towards xenofiction. As an unapologetic nerd, he writes classic sword & sorcery seasoned with science fiction themes like speculative evolution.

When he's not working or writing, he enjoys spending time with his wife, his three rambunctious children and his far better-behaved Golden Retriever Maslo. If there's any time left, he'll squeeze in a workout, or make up some excuse and play video games instead.

His goal as a writer is to entertain. Nothing more, nothing less. No allegory, no politics, no hidden messages. He's not smart enough for that.
