Alessandro Zanone is an Italian author whose writing explores absence, memory, emotional bonds, and the quiet traces people and places leave behind.
Born in Italy and shaped by years lived abroad, his work moves between intimate memoir and literary reflection, focusing on what remains after loss, change, and distance.
His books Soft Obviousness and La sua anima explore grief, memory, love, and the traces that remain after absence. Through places, relationships, and everyday moments, his writing reflects on what continues to stay with us long after someone is gone.
