Jack Harrowsmith is the pen name of Bruce Smith, who, starting at age 14, logged thousands of miles hitchhiking across Canada in the early 70’s.

He writes Tales from the Borderlands, a series of genre-blending novels and short stories set along the Minnesota-Ontario border in the fifties and early sixties.
