Mark A. Monoscalco currently serves on the board of directors of a state policy think tank dedicated to advancing individual liberty and economic freedom. He has studied the moral and philosophical foundations of individual liberty for more than a decade, including four years of focused research and writing for The Forbidden Idea.

He holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago.
