I began reading fantasy at an early age. The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings trilogy, being one of my first and favorites. Fantasy was my escape when my own world wasn't going so well. I never thought I would be blessed to add to the world of fantasy but my dragon friends had other ideas. I only hope you enjoy reading the trilogy, as much as I have in writing it. I am forever grateful to the dragon intelligence that has infused my consciousness, awakening memories and giving me the ability to bring their story to life.

It's not a matter of "if" it's really just "when". Have faith in your writing. When I'm inspired I write, but, I don't beat myself up if I haven't written in a few days. My writing flows to me through the 'ethernet' and sometimes my dragon friends are off playing. So, I play with them. It takes all the stress out of producing a good manuscript.(less)

Being character driven in my writing, I'm watching a movie my dragon staff is playing and I'm the screen writer, putting their movie in print. I never have any idea where they are taking me but it always comes together. Often I sit back and go - "wow" after I have written a chapter. You can never learn enough when it comes to this craft.(less)

Saying So Long

I just finished a fourteen year relationship with A Dragon's Tale by completing Book III - Mishmakon, The Dragon King. It was a very complicated emotional experience for me. Much akin to the feelings I had when my Lab of thirteen years died. I had been dragging my feet finishing the book and finally one of my closest friends and a downright great editor said, "You don't want to say goodbye, that's Read more of this blog post »

“There is pleasure and then there is pleasing. To experience the two and appreciate the difference is kindred.
To experience the two and never seek to learn the difference is...a shame”

“The distinction between what is real and what is imaginary is not one that can be finally maintained...all existing things are, in an intelligible sense, imaginary.”
John S. MacKenzie

“The secret of imagining is the greatest of all problems to the solution of which the mystic aspires. Supreme power, supreme wisdom, supreme delight lie in the far-off solution of this mystery.”
Douglas Fawcett

“Until one is committed, there is hesitancy, the chance to draw back, always ineffectiveness. Concerning all acts of initiative (and creation), there is one elementary truth, the ignorance of which kills countless ideas and splendid plans: that the moment one definitely commits oneself, then Providence moves too. All sorts of things occur to help one that would never otherwise have occurred. A whole stream of events issues from the decision, raising in one's favour all manner of unforeseen incidents and meetings and material assistance, which no man could have dreamt would have come his way. I have learned a deep respect for one of Goethe's couplets:
Whatever you can do, or dream you can, begin it.
Boldness has genius, power, and magic in it!”
William Hutchison Murray

“In the vibration of appreciation all things come to you. You don't have to make anything happen. From what you are living, amplify the things you appreciate so that it sit he dominate vibration you are offering and then only those things that are a vibrational match to that can come to you. Then sit back and know, "You ain't seen nothing yet!!!”
