This novel begins in February 1986 about a young Romanian who lives in Bucharest. He loses his parents and is raised by his grandparents. He has a long-term relationship with a schoolmate he met at a young age. He has several dreams of becoming a talent scout, or so he thinks. He goes through school and gets a job as a waiter, along with some other odd jobs, but is not happy in his current situation. On his 21st birthday, he receives a letter that was written by his mother. After receiving the news in the letter, he begins his search, but his immediate focus is to find new talent, so he can make a good life for himself. His grandparents pass away, and he takes on a job in the United States as a talent scout. During his quest, he comes across some unexpected surprises. He ties the letter and his dreams to his discoveries. He is at a point in his life where he needs to make some important family decisions in order to fulfill his life.

A Visionary's Quest - An inspiration for my book
One of the characters in A Visionary's Quest is autistic. I got this idea from my 9-year-old nephew, JoJo. He doesn't talk and gets very frustrated when he doesn't get his way. Autistic people get very stuck in their routines and have a hard time dealing with anything that is out of the ordinary. If you know anyone that is autistic, you could probably relate.

Introduction
Hi all,
I am a new author. I moved from California to Chicago about 2 years ago. I know, crazy, but whatever, long story.
I've been trying to find my way around this site. It seems a little difficult getting around, but I hope it will be easier as time goes on.
Some of my past experience includes real estate sales, so I have written a couple of non-fiction e-books: 69 Tips for Real Estate Agents to Know and The Home Buying Process.
I recently uploaded my first contemporary fiction novel, A Visionary's Quest. This book is available in paperback and as an e-book. I entered the ASIN for the e-book, and added the paperback as another book with the ISBN number. Now, I have two books with the same title. I hope I did that right. If not, would someone please guide me.
I plan on participating on this website more often, but I would also like to get started on my next book, which I haven't decided yet if I want to write a fiction or non-fiction.
If we have anything in common, then let's be friends.
