Rose Alden lives in a rural corner of the UK, where she is knee deep in beautiful countryside! She is often to be found wandering the hills soaking up the surroundings and taking photographs of the local flora and fauna.

Rose has spent many happy hours with her son in pursuits such as looking for badger sets in the woods, watching tadpoles turn into frogs and collecting ants for his ant farm. She loves the natural curiosity that children have about the world around them and believes that it is important to nurture and encourage this wonderful fascination whenever possible.

A liger is what happens when you cross a male lion with a female tiger but because lions and tigers don’t live together in the wild this only happens when they are kept in captivity.
