A couple of years ago, I noticed that all of the action heroes I loved growing up were now...old. I know age eventually catches up with everyone (I'm only 31 and I've already had hernia surgery and discovered heartburn) but this wasn't suppose to happen to the likes of Schwarzenegger, Stallone, Willis, and anyone else who kicked cinematic ass back in the 80s and 90s. Sure, there are new action heroes like Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, Vin Diesel, and numerous others. Cool as they are, they're just not the same.
I suddenly knew what my father must've felt like watching Clint Eastwood age with each passing film. Being a writer, I did the only thing that I could...I wrote. My thoughts manifested into a novella called "Alien Hunter." It tells the story of Kris Dunn, an aging action hero, who gets a second chance at fame when the Earth is attacked by "actual" aliens. Anyway, anyone who suffers from similar feelings, might get a kick out of my story and should feel free to follow the link below.
