A Los Angeles native, my first published work, a poem, ran in the Los Angeles Times. I was seven. It took a few more years to make a living writing.

I've worked for papers, magazines, online news channels and multinational corporations. While I've covered topics ranging from the police beat to custom doll houses to cybersecurity, interviewing innovators, including NASA scientists and engineers, cemented my craving to blend romance with space and a better future. If I'd been better in math, I would have been an astronaut.

I am passionate about writer and artists’ rights and do not use AI in my writing and editing, nor do the artists I commission for my books’ associated art.
