Let me take you back to the beginning. I joined social media in 2017, and since then, I’ve written books—fiction and non-fiction—blogged regularly, created various products, and even dabbled in becoming a YouTuber. Today is the one-year anniversary of the release of my novel, Between Us. Last year I released the book at the start of the pandemic, and that was about all I did, release it.

I recently took the webinar “How to Sell More Books Using Goodreads,” and it was mind-blowing. I was so impressed by the information provided that I purchased what they were selling.

And, what they were selling was an online course of 29 different classes (typically offered as an in-person conference) from industry professionals geared toward writers and authors.

I am living my best life because I applied the techniques in this journal. My number one goal in life has always been to own my time. This meant, I hated going to a 9 to 5 and the restrictions that came with it. I felt unfulfilled, depressed, and hopeless every time I went. Because I was so aware of the life I wanted, I dedicated my days to changing that aspect of my life.
