I have this bad tendency to push books on people as a way of giving them advice about writing.

It is very hard to know how to find good advice when it comes to anything creative. When you're just starting out, it's hard to know how to parse any advice at all.

How freely we gave ourselves over to social media; and how we became such gleeful participants in our debasement.
