Kamy was born in South Africa. As a child she amused herself with her nose stuck in a book, and it wasn't long before she went from reading stories to writing them. With a love for anything from fairy tales, folk lore, and Greek mythology, she would often stare at the mountains looking for sprites and fairies. English was her favorite subject, and she’d recite Shakespeare and Browning because, why not.
She moved to New Zealand with her family and followed her dreams soaking up as much knowledge as she could about the writing world.
