Happy End of February!

It’s difficult to believe that although it seems this year just started here we are blowing out of February! Wow! Between the blizzards up north and the strangely warm weather down south, it’s going out with a roar. The second book of the year, THE FATAL CONFIDANT, is out now and it’s so exciting to read the reviews. Folks are loving the book. I sure hope you’ll check it out. I love this story and the setting is in one of my favorite cities, Birmingham, Alabama. Grab your copy and find out why Birmingham is known as the Magic City. The city is home to a varied and sometimes scary history, but she shines now with growth and change.

I hope you picked up your copy of THE DEVOTED GAME, also set in Birmingham. If you’ve ever been there you’ll recognize the Schloss Furnaces and numerous other interesting places, like the Vulcan Park. I had so much fun touring each and every one.  Many scenes in the book are set in those unique locations.

We’re moving into March and yet another book is coming out. Watch for THE TEN YEAR LIE. This one is a real hometown story you won’t want to miss. Happy holidays, friends!

I hope this holiday season finds you well. I am so excited about this month’s release of SECRETS YOU CAN’T KEEP!!! If you haven’t grabbed your copy already, I hope you will. Release month is always a very exciting time. So far the reviews are fantastic and I couldn’t be more pleased.

 

I’m looking forward to 2026! As I mentioned in my last news, it’s going to be a very exciting time. Starting in January there is a new release each month all the way through July! January brings THE DEVOTED GAME, February is THE FATAL CONFIDANT, March brings THE TEN YEAR LIE. Then in April is DEEP DARK TRUTH, THE DROWNING SEASON in May and LOST IN THE DARK in June. Finally, in July is WHAT GOES AROUND! October brings the big, new standalone, THE WOMAN I’VE BECOME. I am so excited for all the books, especially the October release.  I’ll post the cover for the October release soon! This is going to be a thriller year for sure!

Hello Friends,

It’s been a minute. Wow, how time flies. I have been so busy since my last news. I hope to ensure that doesn’t happen again so stay tuned. Check in from time to time.

 

On the home front we’ve been very busy this year. We screened in our back porch. Added a carport. Did tons of landscaping (very hard work!). Extended the chicken run. Then we went inside and did a total kitchen update and fresh paint and paper throughout the main living area. Whew! I’m exhausted just thinking about it.

 

Don’t worry, I was also very busy doing a LOT of writing. Back in May we had the release of CLOSER THAN YOU KNOW, the latest Vera Boyett book. Now, coming in December is book 3, SECRETS YOU CAN’T KEEP. I’m so excited about Vera and what’s happening next. Be sure to grab your copies. Also, I have great news for 2026. Seven of my favorite books have received new editing, new covers and titles and are being re-released by my publisher. One each month starting in January with The Devoted Fan! February brings The Fatal Confidant; March, The Ten Year Lie; April, Deep Dark Truth; May, The Drowning Season; June, Lost in the Dark; July, What Goes Around. Finally, in October comes a very special new standalone novel. I don’t have the final title yet but I’ll let you know soon. Anyway, 2026 is going to be an exciting year!

It’s hard to believe that it’s August already! This year is flying by! I hope you’ve had an amazing summer so far. It’s been fiery hot here in southern Tennessee. I’m so excited to tell you about my latest release. DEEPER THAN THE DEAD is out now in ebook, paperback and audio! The reviews are pouring in and I’m so proud of how readers are responding to the first in the new Vera Boyett trilogy.  I hope you’ll have a look.

Deputy Chief Vera Boyett’s career with the Memphis Police Department has crashed and burned. Now, on top of that, a call from home has sent her rushing back to small town Tennessee to try and handle a situation before it comes a catastrophe.  Vera grew up on a farm in that small town. She and her sister Eve loved exploring their surroundings. They wandered in the woods and wadded through creeks. A well hidden cave they found deep in the woods became their special place. Later, when they were older, they hid a secret there–one they vowed to never speak of again. Now, more than two decades later, that cave and that secret have been found. Vera will have to utilize all the skills she honed as a crime analyst at Memphis PD to try and prevent any evidence leading back to her and her sister.

Hello All!

Can you believe it’s here–spring 2024? Time just seems to fly. I have a lot of exciting books coming out this spring. Three more titles in my Lookout Mountain Mystery series! The great news is you do not have to read these books in order. They are all standalone stories. I loved writing them and I hope you will enjoy the reads!

It’s hard to believe that 2023 is coming to a close. It has been an exciting year! I’ve been busy writing and working around our little farm. My latest novel just released from Thomas & Mercer! 2023 has been a good year around the farm! The chickens are laying and we’re enjoying all those goodies. The garden was great and we’re already plotting out next year’s. Hello all!

It’s hard to believe it’s September already! It seems like yesterday we were talking about spring! Spring and Fall are my favorite times of year. Living in the south, it’s always nice to feel those cooler temperatures coming and September is definitely bringing them! Not to mention this means Halloween is on the way and, of course, Thanksgiving and Christmas! I do love the holidays!

As 2021 comes to a close, I can’t help feeling a sense of relief. It has been a tough year. But I’m an optimist and I look forward to the new year with great hope!

Hello friends!

It’s been a little while since I posted news! Life can be complicated sometimes. But, it’s a new year and the future is brighter.

I’m thrilled to tell you that I’m doing more Devlin & Falco books! Book 2, GONE TOO FAR, is coming on April 27! Then, book 3 and the final Devlin & Falco comes in December. We’re still working on the title but I am loving writing it! Also, I’m starting a new series that I hope you’ll love. More to come on that!
