True Magic - (c) 2013
Writing as Scott Galister once again, I've published my latest m/m 3-act story called True Magic.
Altho I normally prefer sci-fi, fans have continually expressed their interest in another contemporary fiction offering. So, in an attempt to complete that mission True Magic appeared. I had a few more ideas still cooking since The Heart of the Cluster, which was purely scifi. Those ideas were in the heavy duty m/m genre. This time they appeared as contemporary fiction. To further throw me for a loop, a fantasy element crept in to each one of the stories. That put the final touch to creating a cohesive whole for this novel.
So, True Magic centers around a theme - magic:
Flashlight - There was no way Kevin Nygaard could have known that the innocuous app he downloaded to his phone would transform his life.
Oceans of Troy - Card tricks and illusions were enough for Justin Regal until Troy Issca came back home and showed him true magic.
Whispers - Ben Vickerts acquires a mysterious power that very nearly overwhelms him before it delivers his heart’s desire.
I suspect this will be the last 'Scott Galister' offering from me. I'm fresh out of ideas that fit into the sexy m/m genre and am back to my normal gay-themed stories with normal gay main characters caught up in normal drama. In other words, they might have sex but that's not the main idea of the story.
I hope you enjoy True Magic. It's only in ebook format and is only $2.99. Sample chapters of EACH story can be read from my website at www.mark-kendrick.com.

What's that profile pic?
That profile picture is a sand sculpture at Burning Man 2009. It perfectly depicts what I feel about our place. We're made of the stuff of the Earth yet we have the capability of reaching into the sky. Indeed, we can see the supermassive black hole in the center of the galaxy. We can see almost to the Big Bang. We can see inside our brains. We know what's inside the planet.
We can even reach inside ourselves and create whole new worlds.
