Face The Review: Jai Ho
Nearly after a complete year Salman Khan is back and surely with a bang. Jai Ho is a movie which has the taste of today’s emotions. Sohail Khan captures it all in his own style and yet does not do any overdose of anything. Jai Ho has a proper mixture of action, drama and it comes with a good message. After watching many Salman movies which didn’t had much to do with story, Jai Ho is a fresh air, it has a story which reflects today’s situation. But even after all that it does not bore you at all.
Salman Khan has given an outstanding performance; he makes you believe he is Jai. Pulkit Samrat does well in his small role. While Tabu shines in her character as Jai’s sister. Daisy Shah didn’t have much to do, but she did well in whatever screen timing she had. Other supporting cast has also done a good job.
The camera work is good and the action scenes are good. The songs are ok, not too good.
Overall Jai Ho is a Salman style movie with a good message… I would give it 3 stars out of five. You should watch Jai Ho.

Distances… A word with a lot of EMOTIONS.
Distances, separation, farewell these are some things which we cannot stand. When we were kids we actually didn’t realize what it means to part our ways, changing places, schools were linked with excitement; excitement of exploring new places, excitement of going to a new school and making new friends. But now as an adult, I have an altogether a different opinion.
I never appreciated the distances, separation and missing. Though I liked to be in a new adventurous place, exploring the faces unknown to me but then whenever I’m away from those I love, my parents, my best friends, my love towards them has only deepened, something which we don’t realize when they are with us. Every time I’m away and think about them made me realize how much I’m incomplete without them. I miss all those moments I had spent with my friends. We had our own life comprising of all those charms, all those memorable moments. I still miss those days when my friend was with me even in the empty streets, early in the morning while going to our Sanskrit tuitions. I still miss those days when in class, during a lecture, how we used to communicate with each other by scribbling words at the end of our notebooks.
The intensity of love I felt for my school and teachers on the day of my farewell wasn’t the same when I was studying there. Yes, the best moments in my life were spent in my School. There are so many memories about my school that bring back both smiles and tears. Those days the world seemed my domain and it has been almost 4 years since I left my school to enter this competitive world, where everyone was in hurry. My school taught me one simple thing and that is, “It’s only until you open your wings, you will touch the sky, so in the open sky, fly the birds of dreams”
And today, I was walking down the once empty street which led to my school, gazing at the passersby who had come there for their morning walk to see what changes, if any, had taken place in my absence. I have some relation with these paths; there wasn’t a single change, the time stopped for me. Suddenly my phone rang and it was my mother. I had to reach home way before and I was late. I quickened my steps and moved briskly towards the cycle stand where I had parked my bike. I started my bike and looked back towards the school, something cried aloud in my heart.
No matter how many years have gone by, a part of you always longs to relive those days one more time. Well, that is the way life is all about. We are travelers by birth. We are travelling from one place to another in fulfilling those windows of dreams seen by us. But we actually never forget the places, the people- our places, our people. These distances echoes only one thing, even after distances, separations and farewells, the relationship with our friends, parents, and the sense of belonging with our places should only blossom. Our time changes but time and distance do not make us strangers.
As someone truly said; “The only thing constant in life is change”

FACE THE Review: Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani
Story:
The Movie starts with Deepika Padukone Remembering the past, which takes the movie into flashback. Showing how Deepika joined Ranbir, Aditya and Kalki to the trekking camp and incidents happened in their life. Then post interval the present is shown, where Ranbir come back to India for the wedding of Kalki and to know the rest go and watch the movie.
My View:
Director Ayan Mukherjee has given a full on entertaining movie. The movie has everything, good music, beautiful locations, and strong performances. The movie will entertain you till the end, and does not bore you. The story of the movie is awesome. Ranbir Kapoor has again given a brilliant performance. Everything is there in his performance which is needed. Deepika Padukone has looked the best in this movie, according to me. She delivers finest performance and looks gorgeous and sweet. Aditya Roy Kapoor and Kalki Koechlin have given very good performances. The movie even if is a commercial entertainer has a message stored in it, which is something very nicely crafted in the movie. The movie is not just about love, it is also about friendship, dreams, relations, and time.
I would give it 4/5 stars…. This is surely a movie you should watch, so go and watch the movie.

FACE THE Review: Iron Man 3
Story:
To know about it please go out and watch it I don’t want to be a spoiler.
My View:
Director Shane Black has given a full on entertaining action packed superhero movie. The movie will keep you on the edge of your seats till the end. The story of the movie is good. Robert Downey Jr. is the soul of the movie; he has given a brilliant performance. Whenever Iron Man comes on-screen people just shout and scream. So you might miss some dialogues. But this shows how its star-power is. Ben Kingsley has played the part of Mandarin perfectly, but it has limitation to it. Gwyneth Paltrow does a good job. The humor in the movie is the best, none superhero movie has shown it this way. The action is of top class, expect a fire cracker.
I would give it 4/5 stars…. This is surely a visual treat to watch, so go and watch the movie.

FACE THE Review: Someone Like You
About the Book:
The hum of a motorbike.
The uproar of the crowd in the stadium.
The cheering and clapping.
All fell silent…
Just the thumping of their hearts remained and a question were they going to lose him?
Thanks to the makeover by her sisters friends, the nerdy Niharika entered college more confident, more attractive. She meets the sweet, shy Tanmay, and the spoilt but lovely Pia and they become best friends. And when Akshat and she began dating, life finally seemed to be falling in place.
Except that it wasnt…
Tanmays success in football had begun to change him. Akshats perfection seemed like a front for something dark and sinister. And their college senior Karthik? His aggressiveness was a cover for his mysterious past.
Someone Like You is a powerful and touching story of friendship, love and betrayal.

Amit Trivedi has given an awesome music, and the background score is good. All the actors has done great job, I liked Raj Kumar Yadhav’s acting he takes the character of Govind to another level. His romance with Amrita Puri looks cute. Sushant Singh Rajput has done a great job. The movie has its elements of fun, romance, emotions. FACE THE Review: Special 26
Story:
The story of the movie is set in the 80’s, and tells about the raids which were taken at various places by fake CBI. They steal from the rich and as its all black money so no one complains about it. Due to which gang of four escapes easily, but a day their raid news appear in news paper and a real CBI officer decides to stop them. Will he stop them? Will they be able to get their final raid done? Will things would go as they plan? To know the answers, go and watch the movie.
Direction:
Neeraj Pandey is back, his last movie ‘A Wednesday’ was truly one of the best movies, and he keeps his charm in this one too. He has done a fabulous job. He has focused on the story rather keeping it on the star. He has narrated the story very well and each character is sketched very well. The raids shown are funny and awesome.
Performances:
According to me this is the best Akshay Kumar performance, he should do more of such movies. Anupam Kher is best as Sharma; his acting takes the character to another level. Manoj Bajpayee is simply awesome in the role of CBI officer Wasim Khan. All the other actors had done good job.

Face the Review: Jab Tak Hai Jaan
Story:
The story of the movie revolves around the three main characters Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma. I don’t want to be spoiler. So I would suggest you to go and watch the movie.
Direction:
Yach Chopra is truly a legend he has done an outstanding job as director. Words can’t describe it.
Music:
The music of Jab Tak Hai Jaan is given by A. R. Rahman. He has given a great music.
Performances:
SRK is best at what he does; in his Army look he is just awesome. Katrina has given her best performance till date. She looks beautiful. Anushka has done a decent job.
My view:
Overall the movie is a good movie but it’s long. Very long! The romantic portion between SRK and Katrina is good. The thing of Katrina’s ‘wish to GOD in exchange off’ doesn’t act the way it should have. You don’t feel pity for her. The climax has been stretched, it should have been edited. The length of movie should also have been edited. The locations are beautiful, the cinematography is awesome. The dialogs are good. SRK and Katrina look beautiful together. It’s worth a watch.
My Rating:
I would give it 3.5/5… this Diwali definitely go and watch it.
