BORN IN BURMA TO A RELIGIOUS HINDU FAMILY, MY LIFE BEGAN AS A PARADOX. I WENT ON TO STUDY IN A BOARDING SCHOOL WHICH OBSERVED STRICT CHRISTIAN PRACTICES. DIAMETRICALLY OPPOSITE WERE THE HINDU TRADITIONS AND CUSTOMS WHICH BECAME THE NORM ONCE I WAS HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS. BEING A THINKER, THE INHERENT CONFUSION AND DOGMAS UNDERLYING RELIGION DROVE ME FURTHER AWAY FROM MY FORMER BELIEFS TOWARDS SPIRITUALITY.
